It's worth it, through and through. One of my favorite series to date. If the dub bothers you, watch it in Japanese instead. Either way, the story is tops. :)

maybe in english that what people here when they say haruka they ha-ruka .and i though that tobi was a girl.in english we do have girls name tobi and special with that look.don't get me wrong as he or she, still look good.but yes i do say ha-ru-ka.as first i didn't catch on until i ready your comment.thankz mr,voiceisanecho,but ido agree tha atori voice sound great,but i'm just glad that it is done in english.don't get me wrong i also like sub too.

Atori's voice is really, really good in the dub. But I can't get over the fact that they had Tobi voiced by a woman when he is male in the original Japanese. And the mispronunciation of names gets really frustrating, one of the most egregious offenders being Haruka. It's HA-ru-KA, not the dub's ha-RUKA. Come to think of it, I think that Crispin Freeman lampshaded this problem in the dub outtakes...

dubs of the Miyazaki films are actually handled well and isn't comparable to a poor dub like Noein got. It's a shame because English dubs are capable of being very good. Eureka Seven in particular has a dub i like. Sucks in Noein the character voices don't even have any emotion everyone sounds flat.

@deaconkris yea actually agree with you about the miyazaki films... they all have very good dubs... i hate dubs where the voices are emotionless and they dont even fit the characters.... like in dragonball z they did an amazing job with the english dubs becauser the japanese version of the show was just embarrassing.... lol

I love Atori, and how underneath all the insanity a human being exists that can sympathize with another, though rare and difficult to reach. Just goes to show the strength of the human soul. His character reminds me of Dilandau a little from escaflowne or Claire Leonelli from Heat Guy J and other such characters. Tragic yet Human

It's disappointing b/c I scroll down, hoping to see fellow Noein lovers comments on the vid and how cute Atori and Miho are...and all ppl are bitching about is their voices? Well, guess what, it's in English...so they're gonna sound and pronounce things IN ENGLISH. Better than having to read subs through a whole episode, half the time. Not saying I don't like subs, cuz I do. But, sorry if it's not your cup of tea, I speak English and prefer to listen to things in my native language.

Let me clarify:I have lived through the One Piece Dub, the Cardcaptor Sakura dub. the Sailor Moon dub,the DBZ dub, ect. Don't tell me I don't know a bad dub when I see it. It's not an unwatchable dub, and I DO prefer the Japanese version. And anime male characters do look like girls a lot of the time...

In the Japanese version, Tobi is a boy, in the English dub Tobi is a girl, it doesn't really matter what gender Tobi is though anyway.
