Jellos videos should be showcased all over this site. This is your next president America! He's an anarchist, but only because it's the only sane choice, would you rather have people like Bush back in office?! The war for oil was a monster feeding itself, all that oil was used for the very vehicles needed to get it! A life living under the goverments thumb that manipulates the media and with it it's peoples minds and not having a real say in anything is worse than death! No gods and no masters!
I'm a little worried that anti-government rhetoric in the US and similar countries which does not include explcitly anarcho-socialist/radical themes prominently plays into the hands of the more rapacious sectors of the elite, and that this speech might contribute to that culture in some sense. Ironically, governements in liberal democracies get stronger the more they are denounced, as long as they are denounced within the hegemonic framework.
Anything but direct, uncompromised Democracy is not Democracy. But even if we have direct Democracy we must win the battle for the minds. How many people actually bother getting any sort of information from non mainstream media? Hardly any. We have to get people to think for themselves and start realizing that just because the corporations and their puppets want us to think that any other system won't work it, doesn't mean that is the case. Spread the word about videos like this! Use your mind.
@Nederlandac Not that I don't believe necessarily everything in anarchy. You can't stare somebody straight in the face and tell me that you wouldn't bitch to the police if something you own got stolen. There's a fine line between anti-party fascist government and anarchy.
Word babygme, a bunch of puppets and people trying to influence others to control their own strings. I hope our current President rises above as much as possible.
for all those people out the bashing jello get your facts straight befor coming on here and looking like an idiot it doesn't matter where any one fundmentally stands politicaly crocks are crocks the point is politicans don't represent the people they serve the corporate cluster fuck that dominates are exsistance
voting is one of the only things we can do anymore that actually makes at least some kind of difference, even if it barely makes a difference, if you vote your rights don't go away, they are expressed a bit more
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
if you're such an "anarchist" why don;t you go to the whitehouse and start smashing that place apart? i'm not trying tell you what to do i'm just asking why you're arguing with me out of all people cos you're not making a difference when your comments are being filed under "shit i don't care about" in my head, besides you're not going to get a reply if you write a letter saying "excuse me, i'm an anarchist, do you mind shutting down the government"
lol, sorry dude, but youre stupid. go look up the definition of an ideology before you even attempt to speak on it. anarchy is what jello is advocating, no president, no senate, no power hungry asholes. no cops bashing youre head in. peace and freedom
i know dude, i didnt process your sarcasm. im on your side. F*** the government. i never said anything about taxes.....i also meant to send this to the guy yo are arguing with. my bad.
I disagree about the bibleon that one but If We follwed God and NOT the preists, popes etc, If WE read the bible for ourselves then We can make A better world
Jello I like you, I even told you "I love you" for signing Blowfly at the Bottom of the hill. But isn't conforming to the left still conforming? You are real. But you are not the end all be all. S.F. is a strange place. There are hard working republicans who just want to be left alone and take care of their families. How is your hatred for the right any different than Fox news? You are playing the game of duality. I bet you have done pretty well at it! I still agree with you. Just admit it!
I'm fucking sick of the hierarchical structures of the exploitative, capitalistic and oppressive system that shits out corporate politicians who use propaganda to convince the mass society that they are free..
"Voting is easy and marginally useful, but it is a poor sustitute for democracy, which requires direct action by concerned citizens." ~Howard Zinn.
"The Republican and Democratic parties, or, to be more exact, the Republican-Democractic party, represent the capitalist class in the class struggle. They are the political wings of the capitalist system and as such differences that arise between them amount to spoils and not to principles." ~Eugene V. Debs.
I have a question: How woould the big and small businesses fare in an anarchist society? I really don't know. I'm all for overthrowing them,(especially in the NFTA countries, where abuses are rampant) but what would happen to the economy? It seems that it would collapse. It has basically become dependent on a system that abuses and exploits people, much like the slave economy of the antebellum south.
Have you ever seen those Bibles that print the words Jesus allegedly said in red ink? If you just go through and read those bits you kind of get the impression that if you could ask the guy face to face what he thought of Bible Thumping pro lifers he was sorry for them and would say he would pray for them.
Not many I expect. I was a fan of his at the time, and heard the album for the first time a few years after from a friend who had it. I never did see it in a record shop.
Oh I wouldnt say Never. I think this country was on the verge of a revolution before FDR came along and defused it with the New Deal shoring up the leaking boat. And I think the only reason they keep saying, were on the verge of a recession is because if they admit we are in the middle of a depression the news would be dominated by images of people throwing themselves out of skyscraper windows.
@pataphysician66 thats similar to what lenin said 2 weeks prior the russian revolution to students "i wont live long enough to see the revolution, but you guys will" boy was he wrong.
Wow, what a great bit of commentary. Even more true 17 years later. The imagery was also very well done in the video, thanks for posting this RedCeltic.

Anarchy simple means no coercive leaders.
everything else is bullshit. and if jello biafra is supporting taxation, then he can fuck off.
if taxation was voluntary, it wouldn't be called taxation, it'd be called donation.

ruphynres 3 years ago 3
At least voting in presidential elections does nothing. Everyone should vote for the "yes, no, other" elections -- like for school board funding.
KenCat1337 3 years ago 2
They often have the whole thing all at once. Why not waste the extra couple seconds to pick a favorite president, just in case?
