  • Hang in there I know where your at, and I believe in you

  • You are such a nice lady. Just don't give up. Maybe eat 'better' rather than go totally raw?Or partially raw? How about that? I lost 60 pounds so easily just by exercise and eating healthy.

  • Hi hon... just found your stuff - am subscribing. Just want to let you know I'm with you, I soooo get it! Your honesty inspires me. You are trying so hard. You're brutally honest. Not many people would show their weight and share their true thoughts so freely. I think you're doing wonderfully. We are too obsessed with numbers. I've been doing raw for 4 months, gone up and down, gone on and off. I've only lost 12 pounds. The important thing to me is I feel so much better overall. love

  • You do truely inspire me! Don't give up and I won't either. Much love.

  • @kimberlyg75

Thanks Kimberly! Much love to you as well. I may not be doing my best, but I'll never give up or give in!!!

  • Love your journal

  • @klt332

    Thank you!

  • 80-10-10 is where it's at. The only successful raw fooders out there are people who finally find 80-10-10. Have you purchased the book yet?

  • Yes, I've purchased the book and am in the process of reading it.

  • I think you are successful, because you are healthy. A healthy weight is different for everyone, you can be chubby and 100% healthy, like me. lol

  • Thank you. I agree. We're all different.

  • You are addictive to processed food and carbs. If you stuck to the raw way of life you would have beaten your addiction because the cravings stop.

You have to change your way of life, you are not helping yourself or us Cynthia. How can you be an inspiration if you are not succeeding, You have not been a success, you have gained weight. This journey will not be a long one unless you change the way you live. Stop making excuses Cynthia,

  • Thank you for taking so much time to watch my videos, read my blog, and offer your comments and insight. It's very kind of you.

  • you may have a food addiction, think about it- the will is there and you do try to stick with it...

next time see if you are going off raw because of a craving....

if you crave and have physical affects until you eat the desired food then its food addiction you are battling not failing for the heck of it

  • I'm pullin' for ya, Cynthia. You are all-around awesome!

  • Cynthis, check a book from Queen Afua called Health Thyself, its a whole transition program that you might find useful. I did. She's based in NY, I don' t know where you are. Stay positive, you are beautiful and strong. Yes You Can.

  • Just wanted to reach out to you and like another said, sometimes it's what I don't want to hear that helps me the most. You are a courageous Afr8kan woman. You ever hear of Dr. Afrika. We are so blessed, he will be here speaking next week. Dr. Aris Latham and Dr. Sebi, all US based pioneers in raw foods. I am not dissing others, however we black people need our own solutions. Our food addictions are cultural. Know what I mean. Keep the faith sister, right there with you. Peace

  • I am here for you sister. If i can do it, you can do it. at my heaviest I was 325lbs, now with raw foods and a good few years, I am under 200 for the first time in YEARS. I have a lot to share, forgiveness is the key, I also needed outside help to get my act together. It's not rocket science. Food industry has us bamboozled and it takes work to unhook ourselves, second focus on yourself first b4 u try to save others, and finally give yourself a break, easy does it, 100%, now is not the time.;)

  • people will continue to be inspired by you because it takes a lot of courage to make yourself so vulnerable an do this publicly. stay strong & passionate.

  • Cynthia, Don't stop trying. You can do it !

  • I found that going 100% raw was very hard to do. I seem to be happier with about 75%. To bad I didn't figure that out before I bought that darn juicer.

It took me a long time to figure out a eating style that fit me and works.

I have seen some amazing success with raw food too. It sure is a commitment but so is any lifestyle change.

    Good luck with your goals.

    marjie

  • I congratulate you on remaining positive. Please don't give up. For most it takes many attempts to do this and stick it, but you will not want to go back eventually. Just don't quit all together. I have been doing this for 5 weeks and have lost 18 pounds already! You were one of my motivaters and I haven't turned back, thank you and keep up the great work!

  • Great new video cynthia. I am totally in the same boat as you and i share the exact same beliefs. We'll get there!

  • well is nice telling someone what they want to hear, i mean if someone makes a comment wouldn't you want to hear another point of view that could actually help you. Wouldn't that be support. By the way I support you.

  • right on!
