What happens is that there are at least 3 Trekkie Monsters, each of which has its two operators. They are placed around the set in the places they want Trekkie to appear, but the voice is always Tom. The Lip Sync is hard to start with, but after 3 weeks rehearsing it over and over, its becomes natural. And when Kate m wants Trekkie, the operators in the window shut it, stay there, and out walks Tom from the Door below.

the reality is that backstage are very simple

and is only a 2 floors behind, onethe stage, and the other the windows, so, there facilite the moves for Trekkie

so i agree that the pupeter move to fast

and maybe or maybe not, the pupeteer have to run backstage, sings, close, and pass the pupeet =)

@AAAAALLLLLDDDDDOOOOO there are actually a few Trekkie puppets, the puppeteer at the window stays there, one is in the centre and on stage right whilst one is hidden on the bottom, the one on the bottom is the actual puppeteer/actor that is how they do it
