I was shown this video by a coworker, and I'm disgusted. You call the entire crew stupid because the engineer didn't wave at you or blow that retarded "Shave and a Haircut" that everyone wants these days? Maybe he had a long and tiring day that you knew nothing about. Maybe there was a manager giving them a ride-along, something else you wouldn't understand the agony of. And railfans wonder why we dislike them!

Poor was the lowest rating possible. Maybe it should be Stupid.

@RedVoxVulpes i am 17 and ofcourse dont work for trains. but im sure its a hard and toufe job and i respect you guys cuz your job is an honest american hard dangerous job to serve your country in moving frieght. i repect you all. i as a railfan always wave at trains to be friendly and hope they give me horn. i dont really care if they do i just like to be friendly. and often they wave back. but the crews are often busy with many diffrent things enginner / conducter. stay safe on the rails bud.

Sorry dude, I know it seems like they are rude when they don't wave or honk but hey, they are just doing their job. It's not often that I don't get waved or honked at, but when I don't I just shine it on because I know that they are just probably busy and didn't see me. They are doing a job afterall. I'm not saying that once in a while you won't get that dickhead of a crew that just gives you a dirty look...I've gotten that more than once, lol! Good video too.

@amtrakboy627 yeah dont feel bad. often coal train crews on the st joe sub will wave on BNSF. but even more they wont cuz their paying attention to amps tempature speed horn conducter is looking at paperwork all sorts of things that keep them from noticing or always being able to respond they could even be talking to dispatch but c60ac is right some are hateful and scoul at you. i personaly havent met one like that yet. so dont feel bad feel glad.

sorry to say but, To all the people on here saying blow the horn for me, and they are rude if they dont! The crew are doing there job, and there job is NOT to wave or toot the horn for us railfans, be thankful if they toot the horn or wave!
