I never understood why people hate any type of car! Hey all cars are nice, I had Japanese, American and a European cars. They are all good cars with their ups and downs and I miss them all. I don't know TOO much about honda's or their cam profiles, but I thought that back pressure was only necessary for motors with a lot of valve overlap. but I don't really know the whole picture of building a motor, just little bits and pieces I get now and then from my stepdad. But regardless, isn't it a good idea to have at least about 3 or 4 feet of exhaust piping after the head so when you shut down the motor cold air doesn't rush back in and warp the valves?

The basic idea for NA is you want to provide adequate air flow going into the engine, and have as little restriction on the exhaust side as possible while maintaining decent velocity. @mdb4879 an engine needing backpressure is a myth, only a 2 stroke needs exhaust "backpulses" to help it run efficiently.
what does happen is the engine leans out with an aftermarket exhaust and the valves run too hot, generally only with a carburated engine
but yeah the cold air hitting the valves are supposed to damage them, although ive never seen it happen to an engine with open ports...

No. A wheel is a wheel. A tire is a tire. The rim is the very outside part of the wheel. The tires are mounted to the rims of the wheels. Watch this video: watch?v=IubnBzSOJHg In that video everything is named using the proper terms. Calling a wheel a "rim" is like calling a car a "body". You don't call a car a "body" because the body is only the outside of the car. Everything together is called a car. Just like the rim and all the rest of the components make up a wheel.
