  • @IAmScotto - hes not playing the studio solo's dude. The begining of the studio solo after the 7th note of the solo there is a hammer-on and sliding down technique that warren uses. also the amount of notes that the solo has on fast up run in this he plays alot more notes. warren was a good guitarist because he hardly ever plays the studio solos live.

    As for having the amp closer i think that to put it nicely is bullshit. this guy doesnt need it hearing the acoustics make the vid unique.

  • You're playing this along with a demo or live version, but you're playing the studio version solos (VERY well) so we can't hear just how spot on you are.

    A little advice: When recording these, have the amp closer to your camera. We're hearing a lot of the acoustic tone of the guitar rather than the amp tone.

    Also instead of switching to a clean channel, try rolling off your volume and/or going to the neck pickup. And try less depth on the chorus or phaser you're using.
