I completely disagree. Season 1 is my favorite because it is the most character based season of the entire show. I liked that Jack had a human side and was vulnerable. It made him seem more like a real person and less like a comic book superhero.

When I watched this season, I had just come off of season 2 (which was awesome!), so I was kinda miffed by the slow start (really, this season isn't bad at all. But, I had just watched the awesome ending of season 2, so...) Looking back now, the slow start was just the story building up. But when the story gets going, it takes off like a rocket, and reels you in like a Goldfish on the line! I could say this is where awesomeness begins, but then, there are 7 other seasons...

You know what ppl, every season is suspenseful! I watched every season so far as it was aired. I remember almost every season per hour. Although Season 8 so far is getting negative ratings I'm loving it so far! Never judge this series based on the first 12 hours of each new season. It ALWAYS picks up and gets a hold of you. Season 6 was awesome till about the quater/halfway mark where the plot was gets convoluted and even boring at one point.The season mainly puts the action before the story, but that does mean theres great action scenes. Although it does gets a lot better in the last episode(great ending),the season is still worth watching as it has some of the best moments of any series. Anyway the worst season of 24 is still better than 99% of anything else on tv, especialy at the time it was first broadcast.

idk about that but I agree with you in the sense that day 7 is very very good. Day 5 was really epic on every level in my eyes personally. Day 1,3,5, and 7 were really personal seasons. Day 2,4, and 6 I noticed were more about taking out threats and that's about it. Day 7 is up there though for sure. ;)
