@T22Lee its proabably because you need to change it from converting to an aiff file. So 1st) Go to Edit, then Prefrences at the bottom of edit, then go to import settings and change the aiff to aac then go on from there:)

Why dont you just use Myxer.com!.. it lets you pick your song, and its already in the format when your done Customizing it! Just Drag it to your iTunes music and it automatically goes to your Tones folder! Then Sync and your done!

anyone having trouble syncing the ringtones to your phone, make sure you go to your iPhone on iTunes and click the ringtones tab, and click to sync ringtones. then you're good.

@meliibummx Hi, I've had the same problem, first. What you need to do is the following:

Connect your iPhone (I have the 4S) to your PC to make it sync. Click on your Phone on the left side in iTunes, so that you see the status of sync. Click on ringtones on top of the sync-screen and choose "sync ringtones" so you get the marker in front of it...

Then make it sync again, and have fun with your new ringtones ;)

@SpineBustR I tested on my new iphone4 at it works! this is how I did it:

1-my old mp3 ringtones cut them to 30 seconds in audacity.

2- double click to open it in itunes, right click it and in the pop up menu select create acc version. erase the mp3 version right away.

3- right click it again and choose open in windows explorer. here change the extension to m4r.

4- double click again to open it in itunes where it will be automatically added to your ringtone tab.

@darbyos hello i see you have a problem with your aac conversion, i think you dont have that opcion because when u install itunes a menu pops-up and it tells you what kind of file you work with you must have unchecked aac so you should recheck it
