I would say the 06 ego. but why get an 06 when for a bit more you can get an 07 ego which is much better than an 06. Long story short, save a bit more and get a used ego7.
ego is lighter easier to maitence with and quiter the DM7 has self cleaning eyes forgot how but it does my friend has onee they are slightly loader and a tid bit more consistent if u take care of it the right way

Too bad tourny play only allows for 300fps, and 15bps. Only in psp can you break the 15bps. Also magician, by saying what you have said already proves that you are jealous of wigget. Wow...Ok...ions are ok....but they break easily, are inconsistent, and require many ups to be near the consistency, accuracy, efficiency, and quality of an Ego....Even a fully upped ion will never be quite as nice. As for dm4/5....they are nice, but hard to maintain, and they are massive air hogs.
i ramp faster than that with my stock $200 ion...you spent prolly a thousand bucks on that ego and you prolly suck at paintball so why does it matter how much you spent on your gun anyways?

stock ions are rated at 17bps, in an ego 15bps is one of its slowest ROf's, and egos also have many more diff. firing modes.
