I forgot to say after I broke up with this man I quit seeing this strange figure. I guess my ex bf either had some demon or imp who traveled with him ( he struggled with drug and alcohol problems most of his life), an alien, or even the spirit of a dead ancestor who wouldn't leave him alone. I have no idea of who or what this mysterious figure was, but luckily it doesn't haunt me anymore.

Hey! I've had some weird stuff happening at my place, especially when my ex-boyfriend came for a visit. Every time he spent the night with me I would see a small, skinny wizened old man entity with a long beard ( think of karate masters in kung fu movies) during the night. Also I would see this figure in dark places such as the movie theater whenever we went to see a movie.

You had something FREAKY, but some ppl get a real sleep phenomenon (to reassure some of u guys). My bf used to get bad sleep-paralysis, waking up with area-51 aliens around him, esp. at his gramma's place who's only ghost was an old man, & only rarely at my old place that had a dark spirit (go figure). I told him what he was experiencing, and he still got it but just with a "presence." He realized he can bust out of it by trying to punch the "thing." He's not experienced it in almost a year now.

I've had the exact same experience. Three shadow people, one with a tall hat, have appeared over a period of 4 years. They did follow me when I moved but after buying a new home, I have yet to see them...thank God. The first time I saw them, I was paralyzed and could only pray. It's terrifying.

Ghosts are real cause I've seen one before. 4 yrs ago,I was 11, I was in bed. And my cat jumped up on my bed to cuddle However When I looked over the covers Nothing was there. I learned that the next morning that he had died from lukemia. (This was a true story)I think my house is sometimes haunted but I never actually see anything else. I heard a meow just the other day. that is terrible - its a shame you felt that you had to move house - a simpler thing would have been to get everyone in the house to ask them to leave - they sound like lower spirits to me - I met one once. he left after quite a bit of a struggle, it was an interesting experience. Orbs do NOT mean a spirit. Orbs can be caused by dust particles, moisture, pollen etc. You really need to do some more research into this as I believe you are reading a lot of misinformation that is on the internet. I think that the paralysis with the shadow people only happens in certain places. i dont beleive it happens to certain people. the reason being that about 5 years ago me and my family were staying in an old hotel in naples italy that night i had that happen to me and its the only time its ever happened to me. i couldnt move i couldnt scream and something was hovering over me i couldnt get back to sleep after that. i think it had a lot to do with the hotel.

And I also do not want to make what you felt and experienced seem trivial but sleep paralysis is a fairly common thing. Being stressed or uncomfortable can exasperate the effects. I'm not saying that your old place was or was not haunted but if it were you could be sensitive to such things and that could have induced the condition. The closest famous haunted place near me is a place called "Woodchester Mansion" which has alot of myth around it. Everytime i spend a night there i get stones thrown at me, i think the ghosts really hate me.

Since I had so many odd experiences with that house in MoVal, I have concidered pursuing a similar hobby here. There are lots of old victorians in the area (especially Redlands, the fruit capital) that are said to be haunted... There's even a place where a school bus crashed and a lot of kids were killed. If you park your car in neutral, the dead kids will push your car up the light grade hill so you don't get hit next. (little hand prints are found on the back!)

Funny.. They used to use something called "smudge pots" which were I think just fires inside of barrels to keep the fruit crops in my home state of Washington from frosting over during the winter.. It was a fairly dirty practice I understand which left a layer of ash on all the trees. That practice was replaced with electric fans which keep the air moving and thus the fruit from freezing? I still don't get that one.. the air in my freezer is constantly moving.. hmm..

Yeah, I know about sleep paralysis. Science tries to explain it's a hormonal moment that disconnects muscular control over the body so you don't get injured during dreams by thrashing about, etc.. and that something gets screwed up during sleep paralysis that the process didn't finish yet.. BUT because they can't explain WHY this gets interefered with, that does not preclude paranormal involvement in the process.

Well the other thing is that I never saw "faces" or insects or anything like that... it was only Shadow People. Thankfully, moving to the new house here, a non-haunted house (nobody died in it), the problem nolonger exists.

I looked at the page you linked (thanks, I hadn't seen that page before).. but my orb looks quite similar to the second pair of photos on the page (flat sided orbs).. There were other details about the object the orb hung around which I didn't bother to include including the presence of an abnormally cold zone right above it where the orb was pictured.. 3 people here put their hands through the airspace with amazement that it was noticeably colder than the warm air in the rest of the room.

Sorry that IS dust, not a ghost A true ORB generates it's own light source IE self illumination. The orb in you pic does not. It's more then likely dust, pollen or moisture (depending on the ambient air temp at the time). To not have dust in a house is virtually impossible. As for it moving around...of course, it moves on the air currents in the house. As for your shadow people, leave a DVR running at your bedside.

I already said in a previous comment that several time lapse videos (3fps direct to hard drive from digicam) showed nothing.. They never come when the video equipment is present, strangely. Re: Orb.. How do you know that is dust, pollen, or moisture (ie your credentials and experience are)? I have to be critical of your assessment because the same equipment used in other buildings or outdoors has never produced this image phenomena.. only in this house and only at church..

Not a defect.. film wasn't used. Dust wasn't present. Orbs are caught moving in video too.. Not psychosomatic (you been reading too much Scientologist propaganda).. I get 8 hours of sleep, but it's divided into 4 quarters of 2 hours ended by a nightmare every night.. Sleep at anyone else's house.. 8 hours straight through without nightmares.. I rest my case.
