  • Très belle version de ce morceau

Nous vous proposons la nôtre pour flûte et guitare sur Youtube

    DEMAREZ CASSIGNOL

  • No words to describe but completely goregous!

  • com certeza uma das mais belas melodias algumas vez escutada...

  • Wspaniałe, genialne.! Już tylko ten jeden utwór stawia Ennio Morricone na piedestale, a przecież skomponował ich wiele, równie fantastycznych.

  • Brilliant performance!!

  • Just Brilliant, the man is a God!

  • @chantalbernard - I have to agree, it makes me cry every time I hear it. What a wonderful creation of God is Ennio Morricone...so many years of so much beautiful music. I thank God every day for him and his wife Maria, and for his talent.

  • this makes me so happy, I cry

  • i understand all of your opinions. but ennio marricone is a genius. and if he wrote it for oboe, the best solo is on oboe. euphonium, cello, and violin are all good instruments as well, but it was written for oboe. let it be that way.

  • @kicksazzallday

I heard the piece first by Yo Yo Ma and obviously I was blown away but I have to say that the oboe has a tonal quality all its own and the higher register just breaks some emotional ligature. It's not often the first loved version of a piece is relegated by a second different version but I agree that the oboe has top spot.

  • El oboe es el instrumento mas dulce y que inspira .... pero no saben lo que es tocarlo!!! lo digo por experiencia.... vale la pena el esfuerzo.... hermoso!!!

  • Beautiful.

  • @leto10 Very Nice its a Good Song.

  • you are extremely wrong

  • @backagain010 That was just my opinion...I just think its better played with solo violin

  • @alxteam your opinion is totally cool. frankly, i prefer the sarah brightman vocal version.

either way, ennio morricone is an awesome composer - i dig his work in the old clint eastwood western movies!

  • @alxteam shhh... shut up and listen... talk to the hand later. ok ?:)))

  • @fotografull What....??

  • Ennio Morricone.... il più geniale e creativo compositore di colonne sonore di tutti i tempi .....

Grazie maestro Morricone per quello che che ci ha sempre donato.

    Buon anno.

  • When the music let you really fly ..

    Tx Ennio

  • I went for a short break to Nottingham not long ago, not planning it for concerts. But in that smaller city (a 3 night stay), not a provincial capital like Belfast, I went to 2 plays in 2 different theatres, a lunchtime concert, and professional dance. I missed some of what I wanted to see. And within a month of my visit, in the arts diaries there were 4 different visiting professional orchestras playing in Nottingham. An unbelievable difference to Belfast.

  • The National Symphony. Or. of Rep. of Ireland used to visit Belfast about once a year when I was at school. That stopped. I think they come every 3 or 4 years now. The only pro. group from outside Belfast to visit regularly is the Nat. Chamber Choir of R.o.I. who come once a year, sometimes twice.

I grew up hearing the Ulster Orchestra most weeks. Most of the players haven't moved. I used to like them but I'm tired of hearing them. I guess many people may be here. But there is no choice.

  • me arse

  • @likechips Interesting contribution?

  • @lecochonbleu Recently I see there was The Mariensky Orchestra with Valery Gergiev in Belfast - that must be our other orchestra visit for 2009, in this regional capital of only 4 in the country. I didn't go to the renowned Russian' orchestra's concert because it was Shostakovich unfortunately - who I don't like at all and that mostly terrible 'Leningrad' symphony.

  • When did this concert happen please? There are nearly never any visiting orchestras in Belfast. One orchestra visit every 2 to 3 years in my experience. This year we're able to see National Youth Or. of the very close Rep. o. Ireland once, and even that's eyebrow raising. The only exceptions have been the orchestras of the visiting Chisinau Opera, + last year Ukrainian National Opera. I don't know why - considering all the arts festivals here.

I don't go to hear the Ulster Orchestra.

  • A day i will never forget,I was in tears. The sheer nostalgia from films like the Mission,Cinemo paradiso and so on was just overwhelming.

  • suggestivo!

  • To je to......fenomenalno! :)

  • Wayhey! It's like a reunion in here. No concert will ever top that night, unless it's Morricone again.

  • magnificant.

Does anyone know the English translation to the Italian lyrics.

    Thanks

  • i was there also (both nights). Third time seeing morricone-saw him in pesaro italy a few years back.

  • LUCKY!

  • unbelievable,a very very special night ,once in a lifetime and will stay with me the rest of my life!

  • Wonderful. I was there and remember it well.
