Demoman Isn't the only class taht can destroy sentries without a direct line of sight. You can spam rockets around corner without seeing the sentry, getting it destroyed, Medic can destroy sentries with his syringe gun, aiming upwards over obstacle. Maybe even scouts can destroy sentries without direct line of sight, with sandman?

Does anyone know what the item is that gives some engineers red force fields are their sentry guns? It protects it from most gun damage it seems. I cant find the info anywhere on google.

Additional points:

A) You can bounce grenades off walls to get them around corners (But the grenade bounce works best at archs less than 45 degrees).

B) Engineers can destroy your stickies by shooting them and often will. Shooting your 4 grenades along the floor/off a wall first (so they don't blow up instantly on direct hits) forces the engineer to heal his sentry and himself whilst you safely stack 2-3 stickies to finish the job.

Soldier can kill sentries without being in line of sight. A soldier can shoot the wall or ground near it to damage it. Of course, nothing is as efficient as a three sticky sentry-kill but what can you do?

I prefer to use Loch N Load against Engineers cause it usually kills a engi with 1 Pipe, hard to survive and faster, giving Engies no chance to escape.

I think that the best way to destroy a Sentry with the Demoman is with the Loch N Load(new grenade launcher),the grenades are more accurate,the splash damage and the damage are bigger,makes the job more easier and better to destroy multiple buildings and enemys =)

This tutorial really helped. I play Engineer WAY more than demo, and this has taught me the tactics they will use. And I've used this to avoid getting my sentry destroyed. The wrangler can be VERY useful in some situations too. But I see the Wrangler didn't exist when this video was uploaded. Keep up the awesome work!

the engineer update takes the video and throws it out the window. it now takes over 5 or 6 stickys to kill a sentry with the wrangler active. if you decide to redo the video or not, wait a bit because more updates could balance it out.

My favorite way to take out a tanked sentry during an uber is to put 2 stickies next to the gun, then switch to nade launcher get a direct pipe hit on it while I detonate the stickies simultaneously. Its probably more efficient to just shoot 3 stickies, but this way just feels easier to me

All the arcing weapons you listed don't arc by a significant enough amount for you to arc them into sentries without a direct line of sight. Though you are somewhat correct about soldier rockets, as if you shoot the floor near the sentry, you can splash damage on it.

And if by "engie sentry" you mean the rockets it fires, then I hate you..

Great video, I love the series. However, Medics can also kill sentries without LoS, due to the arc of their needles. I believe a full clip can take out a level 3 sentry. Maybe you could test that?
