@restoscott But no one restores them there will be less bad ass cars for the up coming generations. I'm doing my part i am restoring my 68 charger and just restored a 73 charger for my dad! Restore them!!!!!!!
its sad that people dont care about these classic cars mopars or not and if you inquire about them they want a fuckin fortune for the junk they dont care about!!!
They all look like homeless kittens. Hopeless and crushed, hurt waiting for someone to take care of them. If you are that someone who has the money and LOVE please do it.
in sweden its like a death sentence to trash car like that. if someone threw away a car like one of those in sweden that man would be killed as fast as someone spots him. P.S. its horrible that so many peoples just threw those cars away. :'( one more time it made me cry.
i wish i knew where some of these junkyards were. i am a Mopar fan and would love to find some Chargers especially 68-70 models. anyone that could help me email me at dukesfan69@yahoo.com. thanks for the video.
These car's need to be sold for a cheap reasonable price and go to people who really give a shit about them and who will spend alot of money investing into them to bring them back to their true shapes of their past, instead of just sitting their rotting away into the ground!! Hopefully someday every one of them will have their shine again and will be driven by people who love them and be truely appreciated in their meant to be form once again, instead of being completely ignored, rusty & parted!
that is a very sad video!! all these old brutes need to be resurrected!! Long live the old classic muscle cars that started the lifespan of america's greatest car's, the old classics are the originators and best of all the muscle cars that ever lived. They will never be the same or as good or original as the 60's and early 70's were, that for sure. All muscle cars now days are more like sports cars! The old one's are the only true muscle car's!
in front of me where i live theres a buick gsx (yellow fading) is there all hidden with the weeds and bushes but im scared to ask them if there selling it...bc there scary rednecks and im hispanic...i dont want then to think im stealing or something they might shoot me...but fuck it! ima go get that buick gsx no matter what!

In a perfect world they would all be saved. Don't hate the owner that allows his car to seep deeper into the ground each year rather then sell it. He's holding onto something that the money of the sale will not make go away. The car and the owner will both be returned to the ground. Not all fate is good and pure. Keep knocking on those doors and maybe some will sell but also try to understand the hurt. PS I personally chopped up an AAR Cuda: if the owner sold it earlier it may have lived.

I'm a Pontiac guy but whether it's Mopar, GMC, or Ford... no old muscle car's should have this kind of fate to just sit and rot. I say let's restore 'em all (but sadly not all will be restored). I'm tired of seeing these rice rockets all over the roads
Everyone of these masterpieces should be restored and put in a museum. Its sad to see such Godly works of art rotting away.. Those poor things.. taken from us so young..
'll tell ya why these cars r sittin. People think they r worth $20,000 in this condition. Missing the motor and trans and interior and wrecked/completely rusted out. The cars you see going for $100,000+ are ORIGINAL condition, rare option cars w/matching# drivetrains and sheetmetal. Guys watch these auctions and think all cudas/challengers/etc. w/be worth that restored and that is not the case. Plus a typical QUALITYoff-frame resto is $50/100,000+ and that's if the car is complete and intact.
ok 1st y would people want to treat a clasic muscle like shit i find that stupid atleast when u get 1 in ruff shape restore it like im doing with my 53 chevy bel-air. i find it retarted that people scrap them. i look at it this way if they are thrown away we wont see them ever again.
@cena5681345 it runs until it gets a problem that a meckina >< person who fixes them says its going to cost a lot to get going so they take them home or park them somewhere and then leave them, where they get vandalised or get stripped for parts such a waste but some are put in barns but the barn dosen't servire it just goes and then the car goes
what a waste of nice mopar car just going to waste.. i want to go get all of them and bring them home and fix them all up and give them away to true mopar fans..
at least the cars are sitting the waiting for a guy with the time and money to bring one of these awsome cars back to life. if you look at the good side they are still salvagable for the right guy. at least they havent been crushed like most of the oldies muscle cars that everyone wonders where they went.
When i saw this video, i started to cry and ran tot he garage and hug my car telling her that i will never leave you, or get rid of you EVER!! i give up my wife first. I have a 1970 plymouth road runner.
yeah man this is definitely depressing when you think of all the hard work, the blood sweat and tears shed for these cars. knowing that somebody somewhere felt like the king of the world behind the wheel makes me happy, but seeing them like this is a cold reminder of the frustration and loss of interest of the mopar D:
WOW..yes that is sad, I hate to see the owners just let them rot when there are so many young kids who would love to buy them cheap, and bring them back...how many schools and tech colleges could benefit from these??
shame.. a real shame about these cars. if i was rich, i would just buy them and restore them. and keep them the way they're supposed. because these cars are special
I was raised mopar.. It pisses me off seeing this.... My fatger is doing the same thing right now... a 71 charger se and a 70 duster with a 340... ROTTING AWAY!!!!! Makes me feel sick seeing this!!!!
@Emax140 i know but i mean if the chassis is bent or to rusted to fix but if restorable bet ur ass they should and have to restore it this should be outlawed if it can run it needs to be restored
oh the hummanity- those freakin' japenise rc cars go driveing down the highway hit a potwhole and 5 people die- save these American runners- True cars-save an old model t- restore a dodge charger- hell repaint an old gtx- save them!
i guess to some people they are just cars. nothing special. they probably wonder why we care about those cars.
i will NEVER let my my Charger SRT8 or Dakota R/T get neglected like that. they may not be retro mopars but they are my babies and they will be classics some day.
@jontoad my friend has a 69 or 70charger cant remember he spent 5 years on it put 10 grand into it best mopar ive ever seen so clean not even a little rust on it and its all original his dad was the original owner and kept it in the garage never let it see bad weather just got dirty and motor wouldnt start so he bought new motor rearend trainy and repaint took him 5 years hard for him to find money to fix it
@chevyislife This car had to be nearly perfect that 10 grand were enough :D A project that I did with my father concerning a '70 Charger 440 Six-Pack took around 80.000 Sfr.- that's about 75.000 $ =)
@DodgeChallenger426 no you just have to know were to get parts engine 200 from uncles junkyard rebuilt it with holly carb my friend gave him didnt fit his engine so gave it to my cousin new fender found in junkyard 300 sand paper about 20 dollars sanded whole car 200 for paint and then intirior and everything was about 3 grand to redue whole thing then new dash 200 then cherry bombs were 700 and hooker headers about 400 new tires 300 head lights and front bumper 700
@chevyislife Yes for sure but I was talking about a "perfect" Charger with data coded parts, original #'s match engine and so on... If you want to have a showroom car like this and you do all the things properly it gets really expensive, I know what I'm talkin' about :S
I agree, I'm just glad I still own one it is sad , I really pisses me off because I am a generation from those I never got a chance to grow up with "real" cars
It will actually cost you less money to buy a nice car compared to fixing a piece of junk up.

You Americans made some beautiful cars back in the 60's and 70's.
It's a crying shame to see them going to waste. If only we had cars like that in England.
Man the UK sucks......... I'm moving to the US

Emax140 1 year ago
@Emax140 i know but i mean if the chassis is bent or to rusted to fix but if restorable bet ur ass they should and have to restore it this should be outlawed if it can run it needs to be restored
chevyislife 1 year ago
yes yes, but they could take better care of their car when it was in good condition :)
Emax140 1 year ago
why would they do that? I will be happy to find a home for them.

mikethenascarfan 1 year ago
i guess to some people they are just cars. nothing special. they probably wonder why we care about those cars.
i will NEVER let my my Charger SRT8 or Dakota R/T get neglected like that. they may not be retro mopars but they are my babies and they will be classics some day.
jontoad 1 year ago
@jontoad my friend has a 69 or 70charger cant remember he spent 5 years on it put 10 grand into it best mopar ive ever seen so clean not even a little rust on it and its all original his dad was the original owner and kept it in the garage never let it see bad weather just got dirty and motor wouldnt start so he bought new motor rearend trainy and repaint took him 5 years hard for him to find money to fix it
chevyislife 1 year ago
@chevyislife This car had to be nearly perfect that 10 grand were enough :D A project that I did with my father concerning a '70 Charger 440 Six-Pack took around 80.000 Sfr.- that's about 75.000 $ =)
DodgeChallenger426 1 year ago
@DodgeChallenger426 no you just have to know were to get parts engine 200 from uncles junkyard rebuilt it with holly carb my friend gave him didnt fit his engine so gave it to my cousin new fender found in junkyard 300 sand paper about 20 dollars sanded whole car 200 for paint and then intirior and everything was about 3 grand to redue whole thing then new dash 200 then cherry bombs were 700 and hooker headers about 400 new tires 300 head lights and front bumper 700
chevyislife 1 year ago
@chevyislife Yes for sure but I was talking about a "perfect" Charger with data coded parts, original #'s match engine and so on... If you want to have a showroom car like this and you do all the things properly it gets really expensive, I know what I'm talkin' about :S
