I don't think this guy sounds like a woman.. :D you can tell the difference between a male voice and a female voice, in the same way you can tell the difference between a choir boy singing and a choir girl singing. There's a different quality to the voice, male voices no matter how soft have like a gravelly consistency, female voices are silky no matter how coarse.

Nikkis got some great riffs(and unlike a lot of bands her sound is actually audible) but I think you're not taking into account Brians guitarwork, the sound control he needs to produce his sounds is pretty incredible especially for a modern day rock band, he brings an almost shoegaze element to the band. For all we know, hes writing Nikkis basslines. And everyone also forgets about Joe :< he probably does the most work honestly.

Clear this up... if you listen really closely you can hear a woman singing in the back ground.. that is Nikki Moniger she is also the kick ass bassist... the main voice is Brian Aubert who is indeed a man... he is also the guitarist.... But it does get a little confusing because Nikki is also singing... Joseph Lester is on the keyboard.... and Chris Guanlo is the drummer... they are all in my eyes very talented..... and they are one of my favorite bands... long live SSPU!!
