  • Is that the same narrator from the Wacky Races?

  • I've never seen this show before, but the first 8 parts went pretty much how I expected they would. Then came this part.... How much lunacy can you fit into 5 minutes? That was a free for all nut fest. Did the filmakers suddenly drop a load of acid before doing this bit? looneyville.

  • Someone explain to me again why they were too afraid of the natives to use their flares.

  • Chongo the mongo has a spak attack at the end of this episode. I think it's because no one gave him a Scooby snack after he helped beat the bad guys. Bad Chongo!

  • Now all we need is some Benny Hill music during the cave fight.

  • it was hard to tell whose antics were zanier,

the Banana Splits' or these guys.

  • Wow was that racist....smashing watermelon in the black man's face.

  • I love Danger Island!

It's like Giligan/Raiders of the Lost Ark/The Monkees!!

  • That's an accurate compairsion.

  • the cave set here looks like it was utilised from the abandoned Gilligan's Island show.

  • You know,it was never revealed what became of "Chu" after he lost that fight with Mutan. My guess is that he was killed.(off camera,of course!)

  • i love the the scene when morgan chasing chongo that's really funny

  • Was this series "Danger Island" ever released legally to DVD?

  • You can totally see a studio/crew light on the ceiling from 2:50-2:58.

  • Classic! They must'a had so much fun shooting this show. Love that crazy 60's Monkees editing. It was prevalent back then (so I remember from reruns) and I love seeing it now.

  • This is the 3 stooges Gilligan style.

  • ROTF! @ the extra's toupe coming off! These fight scenes are too funny, now we know where Jackie Chan got his ideas! lol

  • Now, where do you suppose a South Pacific island headhunter got a toupe??

On second thought I don't wanna know. LOL

  • @Lfdjake91

Same place the got the watermelon I guess. :-)

  • I remember watching this back in the late 1960s. It brings back memories. I thought it was great when I was six. Now I look at it and can't get over how awful it is.

  • it was part of the banana splits variety hour and they were 15 minutes each or so .that's when the narrater comes on to tell us were they left off each week .what a cool show it was growing up. thx for the videos

  • I see this episode, and I wonder, they made 26 episodes of this?! how?!?
