@21fuzz21 It's because of the gear ratios. Stock Vtec engagement is at 5800 rpm. If you calculate it out, you will be at 5500ish rpm if you shift at 8300 in 1st and go into 2nd, hence dropping out of Vtec. But from the 3rd to 4th gear shift on up you will not drop out of Vtec, as long as you shift at 8300 rpm.
all these "fast hondas" wuts so fascinating about a stock car accelerating, my VW is exciting to watch, 0-82km an hour in first gear, 130 redlining 2nd gear!

wow u dont even stay in the powerband threw all your shifts...shift at like 8100 instead of 7900 and u will stay in vtec
