You know, you have a serious point in your notes for the video: the left hand is a bugger. I think we get so used to voicing the mano destra that it actually becomes hard to do it the other way! There was one point where the chords swallowed the melody - but I am sure that you can do better. It also didn't help being in a larger room. I have noticed this hurts some dynamics for me. I am playing this piece, too, and am having some issues.
@iiKenzay You mean you want me to think of this piece as if it were Vivaldi's Four Seasons? I hope that's not what you mean because if you know anything about music history you should know that Chopin and Vivaldi are stylistically almost polar opposites.
@mightyquincy109 no but its, true u should play it slower, and the right hand a BIT louder, even though its not the main melody, it needs to be heard, other than that WELL DONE!!!!
slow down your tempo, bring out the left hand, exaggerate your dynamics... all basics principles on the lovely piano. this piece sounds as if you have practiced it so much that it has become monotonous to you, and hence, the listeners.
I don't think that it's fair that you say I play it like "it has become monotonous" to me. I don't tend to show a lot of emotion on my face when I play. I rather try to let it come out in the music instead. However, I do need to repost this video because my interpretation has changed a lot since I last posted. Stay tuned for a new video.
It comes across louder than the actual volume because this camera mic makes all of the dynamics forte. Other than that, I played it pretty piano except for the marked crescendos and where I thought it needed some more power in measures 7 and 8.
its a little fast

Umm. I played this for my recital. I think you play it way to fast. Think of it as the 4 seasons?(: Play it slower. But good job memorizing!

If it's the Mic's fault you should upload it again....like that it sounds way too "aggressive"...

I was never really a fan of Horowitz's interpretation of this piece. I love the way he plays other pieces, but not this one.

This is some very nice playing. But I would suggest you play it a little slower, to get a better feel of the emotion the song calls for.
But you play very nice!

Very, very nice...you play it much better than I do. I would have said it's too fast...but with the way you play it it's okay :)
