what i say at the end of the song is 100% true, he really was my local hero, i just wish i had the courage to speak to him, when he came to belmont bleaching ( where i worked at the time) he was after some parts for his steam engine.. off a old steam generator they had there, ( sound more like him live).. i do a good tommy cooper too .. ha ha..
