ANP leadership lacks vision. If they had any vision, today Pukhtuns would not be divided. ANP leadership does not command an iota of respect. Pashtuns are Afghans, and Afghans are Pashtuns, there is no doubt about that. I crave for the day when all my Pashtuns brothers will live under the united roof of Afghanistan. However, i do understand that because of the current war in Afghanistan it is somewhat secondary. ANP leadership lacks vision. If they had any vision, today Pukhtuns would not be divided. ANP leadership does not command an iota of respect. I do not see any difference between the ANP leaders and ISI creation such Qazi Hussain Ahmad and Fazal Rehman, etc. Pukhtuns need genuine leadership. None of them talk about Pukhtunwali and Pukhtun Code. All of them try to glorify their history and identity by having a recourse to Islam and/or Pakistan ideology.

Children of Pashtuns are thought urdu in schools and businesses are forced to deal with Karachi so that Pashuns of the NWFP never reach powerful status. Pashtuns are Afghans, and Afghans are Pashtuns, there is no doubt about that. I crave for the day when all my Pashtuns brothers will live under the united roof of Afghanistan. However, i do understand that because of the current war in Afghanistan it is somewhat secondary. Remember, Pashtuns have been Afghans for 6000 years, and even now many 'pakistani' Pashtuns do not say they are Pakistani, they simply say Pashtunistan or name the city/vllage they are from.

The ANP is a good party for Pakistan.. we should let the Pashtun rule the country,, they are at least native to the land and would do a much better job then these outsider Mohajir (eg. Gul Khan Shaheed was our friend in dawood College 2nd yr student. we had a fight with punjabi studnet ass. PSA in karachi and their criminals shot at us. 2 of our friends were wounded in which Gul Khan got shahada. He was standing just beside me when a bullet tore through his heart. I was also arrested at that time and spent sometime in Central Jail. Later I became Preseidnet pf PSF and we arranged his 2nd Death anniversary and invited Asfandyar lala and Dr Inayatullah.
