Im gonna cry so terribly, I ADORE this book. the problem is that many idiots will watch it and I become like jealous when some people who are stupid or just can't get the thing watch my favourite movies or listen to my favourite bands or read my favourite books. i know it's not right but I can't do anything about it. I'm glad that this movie doesn't running that bad on 9/11. Many people lost a friend or something else on this date (I am glad, that my dad survived, by the way). i wanted to watch some movies about this date, like that thing with nicolas cage, but i couldn't watch it. i can't see the scenes with that memories in my head. So i think this movie and the book describes how horrible this date was and of course its still is but foreground of this film is that child - the story of that child!

It's a fantastic book, heartbreaking yet healing. I do hope the film keeps to the nature of the book. (It's funny, I always pictured Tom Hanks when I read that book... they casted well on that character, even though he's not in it much). Also, if you read the book, you'd know that 9/11 is NOT the running theme of the novel in anyway, they explore a child dealing with the death of a parent the same way they would in any other way. In that sense the book is by no means exploitative.

This year I was glued to my television, I cried so much, not because I lost someone like so many around the globe did, but because I was so hurt that so many people died because of a few people's hate!!!
