wtf did you make that yourself deep in the wilderness for a WEAPON?? because i bet you could stab some1 with that pretty hard, it would be like 300 all over again!
Awesome! I've been trying to find an electric dulcimer or an electric auto harp. I love most every style of music from Hendrix to spontaneous worship & praise. I love the sound you were able to create with this!
How about trying the Hendrix version of the star Spangled Banner? : )
THANKS for sharing what can be done with going around the corner to see what you can see...or in this case, hear what you can play!
Great job! And a very cool axe...

wtf is that thing?

It's a solid-body electric mountain dulcimer. I made the body and transplanted the electronics from a Line 6 Variax 300 into it.

Aahhh, Hendrix's 'Banner is one of my specialties. I have performed it at a few dulcimer festivals that have fireworks on Fir. or Sat. nights.

Cool but it looks uncomfortable

well, those kind of guitars are usually played horzontally, across the lap or on a stand, rather than vertically.
It's a bit more difficult playing standing up, but not impossible.
