I just well up when I hear songs like this, I can really feel what it must be like to be part of the arrangement and chorus.....I love to see all people who took part in the video
Wow remembered that song 20 yes ago. I was a senior in high school. 20 yes later I'm dating an Army soldier deployed in Afghanistan Thank u for making this.. come home soon
Brings tears to my eyes.. Thank you to all our men and women in the service: our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, cousins.. and their families.. much love and respect and a huge gratitude to you all for your sacrifices.. (in memory of my cousin, Victor Michael Fontanilla.. love and miss you cousin.. RIP)
Almost 4 years later and 17k views speaks volumes. People are proud of our troops but this day in age people want accountability of our leaders... Soldiers that follow orders blindly to the point where they infringe on the constitution which they swore to uphold is where we draw the line.
i was in desert storm and somalia and songs like this really keep the morale going. my dad was in nam and im glad people like him didnt let us get treated like they did when they came home, thanks for your support it really did and does mean alot
this video means a lot to all the people that over seas i saw this video for the first time it almost made me cry even when i am over seas myself thank you all that support us
I use to sing this song for choir class in high school. hearing it with this video almost made me cry.God please end this war and bring all our troops back..we miss em very much..
thanks for this video, ill be in the mountains by spring time... the only difference between heroes and soldiers is that soldiers are still alive. i pray that there be no more American heroes, only American soldiers
This is very good. I do miss the other version that shows the tank in the sunset and opens with the JFK 1961 inaugural address quote. Is that still on Youtube?
Nobody better remake this song! It'll just sound like that crappy remake of "We Are The World" and will contain quarter-assed talents and rappers who all sound like moldy diarrhea.
Well said!!! You don't have to support the war but always support the troops! They serve their country not because they have to but because they want to. If you won't stand in front of them in war then stand behind them and support them from the safety of your home and pray for their safe return. STAND TALL STAND PROUD there are voices that still care.
This song I adored that I sang since Junior High and I remember the Music class, we got together and sang... I was bullied during that time... Alot of People out in the country needs to stop Bullying America. I prayed every night that we dont have any threats.
Please US Soldiers we dont want any Enemies bullying America.
Im proud to be an American, this is the best country in the whole world God bless us all I have family in iraq please bring the troops home to their families, we miss you Betty Dieguez, her husband Alex and our cousin Jesse Acosta love the acosta family.

Outstanding video. You're right - our military should never be forgotten. While we should pay our respects and give thanks to those we've lost, we seem to have forgotten how important it is to let our troops know that we unconditionally support them. There should be more yellow ribbons, more American flags hoisted high, more thanks.
@WHPiersonJr Well, i don't see the purpose of supporting a military which includes itself in wars, where it has not purpose of being there.
Although as the other top comment said, i can see at least SOME sense in supporting the human element, but i see none which would explain why you would ever support the military, unless you think that countries should get themselves into war, and force democracy upon countries that do not endorse it.

I support the troops. You don't have to support the war itself to support the human element involved.

war will not solve the problem the conflict will still go in the cycle,we have to focus to the main cause of it..the political unjustice

I agree... they are there while many of us are safe in are homes far away from danger, and thanks to them we don't have to be.
Lets not ever forget what they have done and are still doing to try to make a world a better place for everyone.
