@ThallesNinja it's for extra points, you can increase the maximum possible from the stage by doing this, also increase your hit % if you miss a shot

My highest score on this was 208'000 on default settings. I got in the local newspaper for it.

Well this is the highest score that I know of, though I have played this on the PS1 version of the game.
It may be slightly different to the arcade, but I don't see any differences myself.

As far as I know, you seen to be a far better shot and survivalist in time crisis 2 and 3 than I am. Those are the games I own. I think you are a crack shot yourself.
