I do camp from time to time, like behind a door or crate and surprise the guy when he walks in(best feeling), but as a camper(somewhat), we usually do that because theres guys on the other team that fuck everything up and just run into a pack of guys holding there trigger down and spraying in a circle, or spraying a shotgun now that they're semi auto. u fight fire with fire, and i find that when I do camp, its those kind of guys i kill, and I end their streaks all the time.
why infinity wards dont design a anti-camper file, because at cod mw2 the number of campers is twice as much then ever. Im so angry that i can kill every camper in real life

I agree. I played a match on world at war using a mg42. Now I set up a postion looking out 1 door with another beside me. I was protecting that postion from being attacked as well as defending so the enemy could not over run me and my team. The same goofball players kept on coming through that same door and me mowing them down. They claim I was camping, yet they had access to me from two doors as well as the walk through of the wall leading up to the building. The map was asylum.
snipers are excluded from camping; they need a position to shoot from. unlike me, i shoot & move or on the move. but if you have an a gun other than that...well it depends on your spot on the map. shotguns work great on corners like wet work. LMGs work best with hallways and small door ways like downpour and showdown. hell i do it sometimes too. as long as you don't SPAWN camp, then whatever. do what you seem fit.
i hate spawn campers...and they're mostly lvl 55 final prestige when i play.

It all depends why people rush or camp. I personally rush in on search and destroy to get to a spot before someone camps there well because I know the spot new comers love to hide at. I've had trouble on headquarters with rushing in and dying by grenades. I'm a 10th prestiger myself but the most I hate is Juggernaut users, You're 10th prestige there's a reason for it, you must be good in not dying well experience wise, wtf use it? =]
Yeah, rushers has more risk to run into traps, being killed by a sniper/camper. Though rushers has more chance of killing people if they are fast and hip.
Campers are staying in a area and looking for people pass by. And then they shot from their area. They never move to a other spot.

sniping - picking off important enemy personal, or infantry, or squad leaders,
once you get a kill, you re-locate your position, and wait for another oppurtunity. one shot, one kill.
camping, is literally, pitching up a tent, and laying in one spot (varies among games), some call this the true sniping, it is, in my opinion, not true.
slow advancing is also, similar, move up every 30 seconds or so, perhaps every 1 min, and make you sure you have plenty of ammo.

Camping was fine when 1 or 2 enemies where doing it but now it has turned into a clean hands pussy fest. Yesterday it was me alone with 2 others againts 6 and none of them came out to play since they were ahead 2 kills. Every game is becoming like this. It's not real life but a simulation- if the game does offer respawn then it was meant for the game to have more intensity and fast-medium action. You can compare them in terms of modern warfare- if you died once the game would be either to short or long and it would be impossible to have a high point score system. The makers did not think *everyone* would camp out of FEAR or pussy tactics. Games like GofWar and other are meant for more intense camping since its 4 on 4 and 1 life based.

It's ok to be done in some situations for small amounts of time like in real time battles- you hide here and there but not for more than 5 minutes. They think they are bad when the hide an play pick-a-boom! but in reality it's because the enemy gets bored and walks around knowing shit will happen. Maybe a permanent radar with no UV jammer will be needed to prevent this frustating and courageless tactic. I love stealth but not pussy camping.

I don't mind snipers that much, it's a reasonable strategy, and besides that, there a fucking sniper rifles in the game.
I just don't like the people who sit in the same spot and knife you or shoot you as you come through a door.
Except bad campers. I LOVE bad campers. The ones that kill me once, and I kill them 20 times because they stay in the same exact spot. What's even better is when they whine about me "only killing them."

sniping - picking off important enemy personal, or infantry, or squad leaders,
once you get a kill, you re-locate your position, and wait for another oppurtunity. one shot, one kill.
camping, is literally, pitching up a tent, and laying in one spot (varies among games), some call this the true sniping, it is, in my opinion, not true.
slow advancing is also, similar, move up every 30 seconds or so, perhaps every 1 min, and make you sure you have plenty of ammo.

That isn't camping. That's tactical shooting. Camping is when you "hide" in a remote or cheap place. Your location gave you good cover and put you in the midst of the fire fight. Good tactics. Well done

There are 2 kind of campers: the spot camper (the classic bastard with no-guts who waits in a black spot and shoot you down) and the war camper. This is an example of war-camper and I respect this style. Like in Real-War.

Camping was fine when 1 or 2 enemies where doing it but now it has turned into a clean hands pussy fest. Yesterday it was me alone with 2 others againts 6 and none of them came out to play since they were ahead 2 kills. Every game is becoming like this. There is no diversity or intensity but pussies who want to kill but not die. THis is not gears of wars, you have so many lives and the games are long-you come back to life pretty damn fast! Learn to kill and be killed! Boredom is your weapon!

It's not real life but a simulation- if the game does offer respawn then it was meant for the game to have more intensity and fast-medium action. You can compare them in terms of modern warfare- if you died once the game would be either to short or long and it would be impossible to have a high point score system. The makers did not think *everyone* would camp out of FEAR or pussy tactics. Games like GofWar and other are meant for more intense camping since its 4 on 4 and 1 life based.

It's ok to be done in some situations for small amounts of time like in real time battles- you hide here and there but not for more than 5 minutes. They think they are bad when the hide an play pick-a-boom! but in reality it's because the enemy gets bored and walks around knowing shit will happen. Maybe a permanent radar with no UV jammer will be needed to prevent this frustating and courageless tactic. I love stealth but not pussy camping.

if u want to rack up kills then CAMPING is the way to go...like it says in my COD4 cheat book, "If you keep getting killed by a CAMPER, stop going to that place because sooner or later he will get tired and move around."
