this is the best way to do a gameplay with the subtitle commentary otherwise you either have the commentary butting into the original game sound or you have no commentray which sucks because then you dont know what the guy was thinking at the time

Man, I'm within one straw on the camels back of scrapping my 360 and building a gaming computer. I'm fed up with the lowest common denominator gameplay you get playing big-box games like Battlefield 3.

Some people say this game would be too slow, but sometimes the music lies in the space between the notes.

Console gaming has its strengths- namely, the ease of use and the relatively low cost- but when you compare the PC version of Battlefield 3, for example, with the Xbox and PS3 equivalents, the gap in performance is astonishing, and the top-end gaming PCs are light years ahead of the consoles. Even the 64-player capability is enviable. The only thing stopping me from buying a specialised gaming computer is the cost; maybe if I win the lottery I'll indulge myself.

@edgariscool5 You could Google those answers but the jist is basically its online and campaign available where you can play with people or/and bots at the same time.This game is based on battles(operations) depending on the initial setup and your commander the objectives varies.Your commander can tell your squad commander to do nothing but stay at a rock line overlooking a hill or something the whole game trying to stop an enemy from flanking the main force but it varies with the main objectives

Well it would be possible to make the maps ArmA 2 size and BF3 graphics. But it would need to be very well coded for quadcore and multiple graphics cards. That said, the gfx from ArmA 2 are not so bad? Its the events like stuff that blows up and a few textures like trees need to be reworked. Other then that it looks great.

@xXTheGreatGooseXx yea if u get one id recomond arrowhead it fixes a lot of the ingame bugs, and adds a few much needed futers such infared and better zeroing in mecanic for rifle ver handey aslo its requred if u want to get ACE-2 mod wich i highly suggest u get hopes this helps a little

I'm 15 and I play ARMA II, I've played Call of Duty a few times on the Xbox, but as I'm more of an avid PC gamer I tend to stick with ARMA. Many of the 20-30 year old's I co-op with think I'm very mature and usually let me lead the fight or come up with the plans as I'm a quick thinker when it comes to that. My family has a large military background and I know almost all code-words, radio codes and other military lingo. Just thought you should know there ARE some mature teenagers who play ARMA.

There is servers that host as much as 100+ players, but this server probably has around 34-60, and the pilot can be either AI or human. The AI can be quite versatile in this game.

@oldmanwithHemroids4 There's two versions: the free one and the not free one. The free one doesn't have the singleplayer campaign (although there are scenarios that you can download and they're pretty much the same). You can play multiplayer in the free one with the not-free people.

@FunkyMunkyStudios This map right here is I think 262x300 kilometers-pretty frickin huge...Arma 3 is gonna have 900x900 km maps. The servers can reach up to 100 people, and on multiplayer coop, which is the mode that is being presented, you form a team of real people and capture towns from AI players...its awesome and worth picking up-and long as you dont mind the voice overs in campaign- but, hey, its a war game-your in it for the action!

You can play against either or both, but its more fun to play with a team of players against Al's. Just get ArmA 2 then play it and see if you like it, if you do, get the expansion packs if you want. Here's a server thats good to play on ArmA 2: Silent Warriors (just filter Silent and you will see the public server for that.) its got a good map with good missions and team (as long nobody tks....)

@evilmonkey665 Depends on scenario. Some missions have respawn, some don't, some have revive when you can only be revived by teammate, some have both revive and respawn (if you got shot while laying on ground wounded or bled out).

@ThingsExtreme You sure can, on the low-medium settings, the game will still look alright though so dont worry, :)

If you get ArmA 2 Free than you most likely wont have to worry about graphics settings, because it doesnt allow the higher settings anyway.

If you experience any FPS drops during play, try lowering the 3D Resolution, its a real killer :) although lowering it may cause the game to appear fuzzy.
