i like this feature as an owner of a 3.0CDi sprinter here in the US. I do wish mine came as a manual with a 4cyl diesel like in Europe.. the 3.0 has (believe it or not) more than enough power for this platform and it's load/towing capacities. The added fuel mileage benefit would be a big plus! (I hear this van will be redone in 2012 giving the US an optional 4cyl CDi engine.. I like this!)

@SecularTechnology Heads crack only if you overheat the engine. Engine overheats if oil is low, oil is dirty, oil pump is bad, coolant is low or cargo is overloaded. With proper care they last 600,000 miles. Last time I checked there were 2 newer Sprinters with 440k and 400k miles for sale.
