  • 'The Clutch' has spoken...

  • JERRY WEST ONE OF THE GREATEST....

  • Whenever you hear idiots like Skip Bayless say that people like himself are better suited at evaluating talent because (as he puts it) "the greater the talent, the worse they are at evaluating talent". I think about how stupid that is. His example is always "Jordan and the failure he is at GM".

My answer to that would be the man in this video. Jerry West is one of the Greatest to ever play in the NBA. And he helped build 2 Dynasties (after his playing days) with the Lakers.

    Jerry West.

  • @drbayoms but u know what??? skip is really good in predicting things. i watched some of his 1st and 10 shows and his points turned out to be right. haha lol

  • @junboy2004

Sure. The only prediction you are speaking of is Lebron.

Where is the prediction that Albert Haynesworth will have a monster year?

Where is the prediction that Chad Ochocinco would have a break out year?

Then the idiot changed it and said by Week 8 Chad will hit his stride.

Skip is there to entertain teenagers and those with no historical knowledge of sports. Those who do not know that in 96 he said "Reggie White was overrated", in an attempt to make Favre look better. Wake up.

  • @drbayoms i cant remember this but he said something about a playoff matchup and how many games it'll last. in the end, he was right.

meanwhile, his partner is kinda funny too. hahaha. stephen a smith called brett favre a whore xD

  • All time leading Laker and 5 rings? He is the best in my eyes.

  • Words from a legend: "once every a decade player"

  • love lakers history....more so, love what kobe did for the franchise. I understand Shaq is Shaq and no one will ever deny him as one the best but i love everything kobe does

  • ppl can hate kobe all they want BUT kobes game is a mirror image to jordans, mannerisms just like jordans, killer instinct, late game clutch expert....just like jordan....has one 3peat(wether you say its cause of shaq or not it dont matter he contributed just as much as shaq did if not, also think if kobe was not in la shaq would get double teamed consistently) came short of another 3peat so he has 5....so how is kobe NOT the closest to MJ we have seen since again?

  • @matt2fresh84 in terms of legacy, leadership, lasting influence on the game, imposing your will on the court in big situations; kobe isn't even close to mj. that's what separates the two. kobe's not only one that's been compared to mj. everyone who's good gets compared to mj. even when mj was young people compared other greats to him because he set the bar. fact is that jordan made sure he'd separate himself from other great players, and to this day there still hasn't been anyone like him.

  • @roostercogburn190644 doesnt matter whether hes close to mj or not you can have your opinion on that, however he is the CLOSEST player to mj out of all players so far in the league post-jordan era....thats what im saying.

  • @matt2fresh84 yeah i'd say so in mannerisms and game style. can't argue that at all.

  • Lebron disliked this

  • kobe is ovverrated injuries all hype he is def not da best laker of all time no where near mj kobe is not da only sg to dominate since jordan indiviually wade stats are better george gervin stats r better iverson stats r better for da sixers n jerry west stats r better n none of these players r close to mj so how cud kobe b he is a volume shooter kobe bryant bgettin bitched on da flooor to

  • @Lake5313 I'll take a legend's opinion (who has seen and DONE it all in the NBA) over your stat infested opinion.

  • @gr8jugslvr1 I am guessin you agree with oscar saying that michael jordan is no where near lebron james.

  • well i guess that 7outta 25 game winners in the playoffs gets u to the best late game closer in the nba :(

  • He might be a jerk off the court, but i can truly say that other then MJ,no SG has dominated like Kobe.

  • @blackricktheruler MJ i sapparently a jerk off the court too. But we dont know neither of them, its all heresay.

  • @TheDJIdris True.

  • Heart wins everything, whether you like it or not. Imho, heart cannot be judged by one's emotion, speech, talent, nor leadership. Heart can never be defined, only shown. Watch Kobe's rookie year vs. now. I see a lot of heart there.

  • bottom line is kobe bryant is a top 10 player all time

  • @pretyboymoney at the end of his career, he'll be top 5

  • @626SupremeLogic for me he is top 5 now... at the end of his carrer, no one knows ;)

  • @626SupremeLogic damn..go to the Kobe vs Lebron videos and peep the comments...those guys think Lebron is top 5....that Kobe is overrated and a ball hog...LOL.....smh

  • Also not to mention he made the ALL NBA Team 1 over D.Wade when D wade been more relevant on a nightly bases. The people around Kobe are the reason he beat the Celtics in Game 7 when he went like 6/24 from shooting.

  • @NinjaXSnake Yeah and as a SG he outrebounded everybody on the celtics team.. he had more rebounds than garnett and wallace together

  • BEST LATE GAME PLAYER are you fucking kidding me bro.Where the fuck was Kobe at when the MAVS were bringing out the dust pan to sweep the remains of the Lakers.Kobe is the most overatted player in the league he misses more then half of his shots and when his team looses he never takes the blame I thought the leader takes the blame.MJ took the blame when the Magics sweep the bulls but when the lakers loose to the MAVS they blame GASOL are you fucking kidding me.

  • @NinjaXSnake kobe did not blame anyone noob...don't make childish stories

  • @mhaco03 Do you know how to read idiot I never said he balmes anyone I said he never reaches and takes the blame for a loss.

  • @NinjaXSnake kobe took the blame, even if it wasn't entirely his

the team played like shit with few exceptions and one of that was kobe... 3 out of 4 games he was productive... he was swept, so what? gasol played like the good ol' gasoft, but things will fix themselves up next year... kobe wil heal train and bulk up, same with gasol... trades willl be made to strengthen the team and there you have it, another ring-finals appearance... kobe is not overrated... kobe is way to hated, not underrated

  • Pau tip ins won LA the Champship. He should of been MVP. That and Ray ALLAN keep shooting 3 pointers when he was so off made the series bad. Baby Davis scoring points with his huge torso and agility on kobe was awesome. Why are we living in the past. Do we miss MJ that much..yes..buty point is every time kobe plays there always a Jordan reference.

  • @sooietube talk about you lying out of your ass, it was 46%, how is that bad? He had ONE bad game in a best of 7 series, but still got 15 rebounds to make upt for it. Even mj 96 finals got SHUT down by payton, wound up going 5 for 20 in one game and had lowest fg percentage and scoring performance in finals. Face it again kobe has 5 rings, and lebron has a cock ring...with dwayne wades name on it.

  • So.....Where is Kobe's Logo? lol

  • Man its always excuses with you fuckin LeClown fans. Its always "hes just 25" "he doesnt have help" "theres always next year" "Jordan didnt win till he was 28" "he hasnt hit his prime" "its not his fault Kobe is better" when the fuck will you just admit Lebron is the GOAT in stat padding? hell get you 28/8/8 all the time just make an exception for crunch time. kobe will get you 26/6/5 and get those in the clutch not in the 2nd quarter when no1 gives a shit....

  • The Logo has spoken!

  • @arm87rod He also said LeBron is better than Kobe.

  • It's funny how people automatically think kobe when it comes to the late game shooter conversation but ESPN did a state check a few days ago and they found that since the '02 & 0'3 season, kobe has hit or made 24 game winning shots in the last minute of a one possession game while lebron has hit 25 while taking a lot less shots than kobe. So, statistically, lebron shoots at a much better % or makes better decisions at the end of games. Kobe fans please google that before arguing like idiots.

  • @kanguesso Great stat, now go to when it matters, like a play-off game, and there is no comparison.

  • @kanguesso Kobe was hurt this year, with many injurys, and hmm? He was still pretty damn good, playing through his injurys, don't pull stats, it's what he can do on the court, that makes him the best.

The shots he's able to make, the passes he's able to make. and he's just CLUTCH

  • @kanguesso LMAO what happens in da playoffs baby! Lol lebron sucks in late game situations and also they were looking at i think it was da last 10 seconds not 1 minute anyways Kobe is clutch and lemme remind u clutch shots can be hit in da 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarter. If u go down by 15 and then kobe hits 4 shots in a row to get u back in it dats clutch as well. BTW there are 3 lies in life Regulare lies, Damn lies & STATS.

  • @kanguesso stats dont mean anything, kobe fans can spout off a thousand stats too, but let me ask you something, do you know how many points and reobounds barkley did in 93 when he was mvp? I dont. What's more do you care? What do you remember about that year? Oh yeah michael winning a championship. What do you remember about this past year? Kobe winning NUMBER FIVE with two broken fingers and a bad knee..and lebron? Oh yeah bumping his elbew and COMPLETELY FOLDING in game 6..9 turnovers? OUCH.

  • @bigbossman999 best comment ever man. props

  • @bigbossman999 kobes good but his injuries are all media hype. just saying

  • @bigbossman999 I love kobe he's the best laker , but honestly in that game 7 ... he shot the ball 25% from the fiel and 0 % from 3 points.

  • @01shan001 yea and he had 10 points in the 4th and made every assist to Gasol and Artest. he shot it 24 times had 23 points. Dirk last year had 21 points on 27 shots in the closeout game and MJ shot 5 of 20 something in the closeout vs the sonics in 96. the difference is Kobe has no shooters and was triple teamed. damn.

  • @bigbossman999 : this was a stupid comment you posted...you are NOT a true basketball fan.

  • @imsljr420 Talking about stupid comments? Look at yours

  • @LynchByInch : i did and found nothing wrong with it

  • @kanguesso lmao u made a point that doesnt matter lol. Lebron does not do it when it counts man. Great arguement but he folds under the big stuff not just this year but previous years he always does and dont say he didnt have help because if u can win 60 plus games in the regular season u can win a championchip. Lebron does not posses skill close to Kobe. when Lebron lose his atheletic body he will be hot garbage because u cant trust his long range mid range...
