Robin1 Dick Grayson joined batman to get revenge on Tony Zucco who killed his parents. Left in an argument and started the Teen Titans, later he became Nightwing and then, more recently, Batman; and then later went back to Nightwing.

Robin2 Jason Todd was killed by the Joker and was later ressurected and became the theif Red Hood.

Robin3 Tim Drake became Robin when his father was killed by Harvey Two Face, he is still Robin and is leader of Teen Titans.

Yeah, the animated series screwed it up. Robin would never hit Batman like that. Cmon, the duo? Robin's parents died, the circus took care of Robin. The circus people died by a gang I think, in the movie is two face but movies aren't the comics. Then Batman took Robin in. I doubt Robin would hit Batman like that. In the comics Robin just got tired of living in Batman's shadow that's all, and moved on with the Teen Titans.

Batman Beyond takes place about I'd say 40-50 years after this batman Series. And timdrake should have been robin, like regular though, then they should sort of recruit as time goes on and continue the cycle, so the batman become sort of immortal. but of course the father will be bruce wayne. It's going to take some getting use to with Nightwing being the new batman in the comics..Idk I guess cuz Bruce isn't fully dead is why it doesn't seem to click with me. Replies after a few days won't work right... so to answer a few questions below... The episode that Nightwing left Batman was called "Old Wounds". The Robin in the Batman Beyond DVD movie was Tim Drake, not Dick Grayson. As far as how that particular Robin becomes "unjokerized", the movie is a good movie... you should watch it.
