I remember back in college hearing this song on the radio, wrote the DJ, probably on WLS, got the name of the singer and then made a special trip to Chicago to a record shop I had found that carried old and sometimes, odd records, many most had forgotten or had never heard of, like The Eggplant That Ate Chicago by Gordon Lightfoot believe it or not! A wacky but funny tune!
