  • love how this has no top comments

  • Blah blah something inane about the dislike bar, I'm a cunt.

  • Whoever disliked this must be a creep!!

  • Pablo Honey is indeed the best Radiohead album.

  • 4 fuck sake me and my missus got engaged in the middle of this radiohead gig glasto 97, allthough we split 8yrs ago we got 2 stunning kids and 1 was made deffo up there thats y i blast this everynite on tube chill friends, who knows wots next x

  • One of the greatest bands of the 90's and of today. Hope they continue to make good music.

  • I happen to agree with both of the top rated comments. Only Radiohead.

  • @mybrotherbeelo way too condescending of a comment bro. I just said something on youtube 7 months ago when i was faded and didnt think that many other people would feel the same I did about this song. I just simply stated my opinion, isnt that what message boards are meant for man? "you will never get this!" : )

  • Pot is the "gateway drug" to heavier drugs.

"Creep" is the gateway song to better Radiohead.

Don't knock their first big hit. It turned lots o' folks like me on to the best band of this generation, IMO. And for those that left the fanclub as it were when "The Bends" came out is not worthy of being a Radiohead fan anyhow.

  • Don't listen it, only feel it.

  • This song really kicks ass. You get bored of it sure, and listen to many other great songs. But there is no denial that this song is one of their best.

  • This version is on Xanax

  • 13 ppl r creeps!

  • @PlayaC25 you mean 583 people are creeps, you don't even understand the meaning of the song, and btw, everyone, please stop commenting these things like 'x people are y' it doesn't add anything.

  • i love old skool hip-hop....... but this is so fucking special

  • whether you like creep or not, this performance is superb,

  • come on this is not the best but.. it's epic... when toy want to suicide.. listen it :)

  • @mjhilps very well put mate. i for one would probably not followed up on their music if not for this song, which i think is a classic anyway.

  • @mjhilps

i discovered Radiohead by listen to Everything In It's Right Place xD, and then i heard Creep... but i never heard it before...

  • @mjhilps I actually heard about Radiohead from Street Spirit. I studied a couple more of their music videos in school in year 9, media. Everyone else in my class was so into everything else and didn't really care about what they were seeing but I was just captured straight away and couldn't let my eyes or ears pay attention to anything.

  • @mjhilps Was there dude, was pissing rain and I was aiding a cripple who had slipped and twisted an ankle..your so fucken special..what did he know at the time. Anyway, was the festival that I went home and did the dirty and got my 1st son who is now 13 and a Glastonbury child...chuffed to bitz with that!!! cheerz all you 97 Glastonbury children...the cider bus sorted us all out that weekend!!!!!!

  • @goog1970 ahaha cheers mate! if only you went to Reading 92 also...

  • I hope people were makin babies in the audience to this song.. so fucking sexy.

  • @SethHesio Nope, we were all freezing cold, damp and standing up to our ankles in liquid mud. I wouldn't have missed it though

  • yes, i know this isn't the limit to their talents, but this is my personal favourite because it's most accessible. Anyone with half a brain know that they have other great songs.

  • this is fucking beautiful ;)

  • Comment removed

  • Search jxHVQOfksM0 for the full Glastonbury 1997 concert :), no lie!

  • Who cares if its there greatest known song? Its beautiful, clever and really REALLY addictive. My third favourite Radiohead song behind Talk Show Host and Just.

  • @plosivUK Talk Show Host is the best song ever recorded. And Lucky is their second best. ;)

  • Comment removed

  • whoow, look how much thom looks like chris martin from coldplay! Only looks ofcourse

  • what are you fags on this is their best song joint with high and dry

  • Comment removed

  • Smells like Teen Spirit is to Nirvana as Creep is to Radiohead.... the unitiated may only know these big hit, but they are both excellent songs though. Creep is a beatiful and wonderful classic, listen to the Scala cover if you doubt this.

  • shut up will u you dun know wot u talking about fed up with playing it they fucking love doing it i was rite at the front in glasto wen they did this ive seen some bands but omfg that was the most amazing live set ive seen in my life ive never seen so many ppl wit tears in there eyes wen he holding the note on run truly fucking amazing

  • Thought that performance was soo good, Radiohead were still there in 1998!!

  • 12 people are deaf.

    Keep on rockin Radiohead!

  • Gotta love when bands get annoyed because fans like their song too much.

  • Amazing. Imagine writing this song for the first time.

  • @warriorprince1010 this was the first song Thom York wrote for Radiohead

  • @villiparis er no

  • @nirvanarugby what was the first song Thom York wrote for radiohead then?

  • @villiparis considering creep wasnt on their first EP should be a clue, some of the earliest songs are give it up, what is that you say and stop wispering, as for earliest id say 'what is that you say' is as close as youll get.

  • I remember watching this at the time in awe.

  • Comment removed

  • i was there in the front that year 97 omfg wot a fantastic gig got engaged it was that awesome pitty it didnt last but wouldnt have missed radio head for the world fucking amazing GATCHI

  • it pissed it down at glastobury this year! top song.

  • Haha, when Thom says "fuckin" he sounds like Shane McGowan.

  • not their best track but fantastic peformance all the same

  • In Rainbows is one of the greatest albums ever made. If you get a chance check out the show on Sundance that shows them doing the album.

  • was für ein riff

  • I have a full audience shot video of this concert on my profile, it's very good quality though for an audience shot :).

  • I think that some people forget that paranoid android had just come out about 2 weeks before this performance, and creep was barely 4 years old. Of course they're guna get hype.

  • everybody acts like this is one of Radiohead's best, but for me it doesn't even come close!

  • Say what ever you want to me this performance of this song is proberbly one of the best ......... the crowd literaly hangs on his every note and you can see and hear that at 3:59 Thom and the audience becomes one

  • thanks for putting this up. I can't believe they just forgot to film colin or jonny in this though.

  • think they get pissed off people in the mainstream associate them with this tune. they are fed up playing it, hearing it....

  • I have also heard that they hate playing it and won't do it often...

  • not they but York

  • @slapnpopme i doubt it, in their last world tour they played it joyfully

  • its some piece of art in this vid

  • Creep, the bored version....I can notice that yorke doesn't wanna play it

  • It's unfortunate that a lot of people these days think of this song when someone says Radiohead. I mean it's a decent song, but anything on Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, and In Rainbows in beyond this.

  • Agree!

  • @Transmissionwould I second that. Creep was a great song on a pretty mediocre album.

  • @tomharding mmm I like pablo honey, ok, other albums are so much better, but called "mediocre" it's not pretty good :( #Radiohead

  • @Transmissionwould u're right but don't say this is a "decent song"..this is a fuckin' special song man

  • @Transmissionwould Give them a brake, mate. Not all the world have to be a Radiohead fan.

  • @Transmissionwould

what does "in beyond this" mean?

    Kid A??..??

  • @spikearchie I mean "is beyond this" as in almost all their stuff is better than creep.

  • @Transmissionwould wrong. Amnesiac, hail to the thief and half of kid a are absolute shite compared to this song. the bends is by far radioheads best album

  • @ricardocummins1988 It's the best if you want 3 minute rock songs. If you want something fresh, those albums are the best.

  • @ricardocummins1988 Wrong. OK Computer is the best album ever made. Period.

  • @chrissalyn81 I agree with the guy you disagree with. I actually think The Bends is the best album by Radiohead. The versality, the different genres, and all that in one album? Marvellous.

  • @Einareen You know, I was on a HUGE OK Computer kick when I wrote that. In fact, The Bends is playing on the iPod now...lol. Stepping back and looking at it all, I have to say, IMO, Kid A is their best. The Bends showed folks what they were capable of, but Kid A showed us all that they were/are redefining "rock" and "pop" music as we know it. So, yeah, Kid A is my pick. ;)

  • @chrissalyn81 Great reflection man! I got to agree with you, yes. Kid A is amazing. Ok Computer is a slick album too, but I am loyal to The Bends. So. :) Good conversation mate, bye.

  • @Transmissionwould I think it connects in a more personal way than most other songs. This certainly got me back into Radiohead and has damn near changed my entire person. While Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows, and the Bends far surpass this song, its more about it's message and how it connects with everyone that listens to it.

  • Comment removed

  • @Krurze Ok, you just proved that you know nothing about Radiohead, just listen to High And Dry, Paranoid Android or Karma Police and you'll see that you're wrong ..

  • Comment removed

  • @Krurze Ok so your tastes are different from ours, anyways, bye man !

  • @Transmissionwould Dude, any of their other albums are so kick ass! I don't know why people love this song so much. They don't like playing it or hearing about it.

  • @PicoRiveraCalifornia I fucking love they guitar tone! So fucking amazing hard!

  • @Transmissionwould Thats bullshit ! Where do you get your stats from ? This song is just the sort of song that would have got them a fanbase that would have listened to The Smith,REM etc ! Like shooting fish in a barrel selling to shy, depressive teenagers...!

  • yeah i dony get why people like it so much either. its like paranoid android and karma police.....i like them but thier nothing compared to the other songs radiohead have done.

  • its all opinion and im a huge radiohead fan but cmon paranoid android is a masterpiece

  • Maybe this song's about self pity. Many people can certainly identify with it, i myself am one. I have low self esteem, you can say that its self indulgence. Sure its mindless MTV stuff. However, if you get the message and the soul, why not? The ending's an anticlimax as well, really surprised me when they choose not to break into another chorus

  • @FlowerSamurai "sure its mindless MTV stuff " bla bla blah! I am not familiar with the 90s assome of you truly seem go bewant ,; I did enjoy 6 or 7 versions of this song that lyrically, I would have felt beyond adequate had I written this lyrics to this song and performed such soulful arrestinG VOCALSi i WANT TO DElVE MORE INTO THIs BAND

  • Paranoid Android is one of the most brilliant music pieces ever written

the chord progression and the time signature is godlike

    fckin plastic fans

  • Comment removed

  • @kaisqais lol. the time signature is godlike?

cos noone has ever put a few bars of 7/8 in a piece before!?

  • No creo, esta cancion es de sus peores...

Casi puedo sentir su "decepcion" al presentar esta, y ver que la multitud se vuelve loca. Debe ser estresante, como compositor. Saber que la gente pide lo que menos te costo trabajo.

  • Fish stated this performance as being "Majasterial".

I spelt it wrong no doubt, but trust me as I was there, he really makes a fucking good point.

  • Hahahaha....nice try. are you learning spanish? the word is Magistral, which it means Outstanding!

  • A startling typo, ten out of ten to thee for spotting it.

Heh heh. Magistral doesn't mean outstanding merely, more along the lines of the song being stately, kingly, of a royal-like

splendor. Know what I mean? It's a good use of the word.

  • sooo fucking special!!!!!!!

  • yes a little bit slow...

    but too cooool....

  • Too slow.

  • I Like Fish

  • fantasticini = Oasis fan

  • It seems after reading through the comments on here that there are way 2 many wee boys who dont have a clue what they are talking about. Your probably all Oasis and U2 fans !!!!!!!!!! If you wana see the best live performance ever check glasto 2003, i was lucky enough 2 be there.

  • ahh Gillespie, you sound like a grandpa pulling the age card like that..!

  • BenjKris....... Your a complete ass!!!! Or just not a Radiohead fan, Pablo honey was sooo before its time, ur probably a 18yr old listening back to it with no clue how good it was at the time. Every Radiohead album needs a good few listenings before u get them, thats what makes them albums that will go down in history. In my opinion Radiohead are easily the best band in the last 20 years and i think in 20yrs time history will reflect this.

  • haha it's funny watching thom perform this song, he simply hates it

  • do you reckon he still does?? like i know he wrote my iron lung about peoples reaction to it etc. but surely if he really hated it they wouldnt play it...theyve got enough great songs to go without....

  • Check out my profile, I've upload an audience shot of this whole concert.

  • creep is actually one of the worst songs, radiohead's ever written, and its not even that bad.

Compared to their later work its shitty though. but its a crowd favorite, and they'll get to play it sometimes, although its rarely included in their sets. Creep is (unfortunately!) probably their biggest hit, even among karma police, paranoid android, street spirit and others.

And yes, my iron lung is about radioheads (thoms) frustration about being considered as a one hit wonder .

  • You might think Creep isn't Radioheads greatest song, but the reason it was such a hit is because it taps into a vein that a lot of people can relate to, in a similar way to the Who's "Behind Blue Eyes" or Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Now most hardcore fans wouldn't consider those the best songs of their respective bands, but they have huge crossover potential because of their subject matter.

  • My fave radiohead song... and im a huge fan. Critically it's one of their worst, though not the worst on Pablo Honey, songs like anyone can play guitar and BLOWOUT are better experimentally and musically.

But creep unfortunately is their "Smells like teen spirit".

Then, music is all about subjective taste. Thank fuck for Radiohead!

  • Wrong. Nothing about Radiohead is shitty.

  • I TOTALLY AGRY with u....

their best pices of art.... aren't even known by pop fans...

They are such a great grup of musicians... In all aspects of that sentence.

Creep is the worst songs... COmpared to the things this guys can do.

And im not a stupied teenage kid, but im 19, so...

The same happens to Muse, the have such an amazing material that isnt apretiated.

I don't know why people gave bad ratings to this comment, dude. But it makes me sad.

  • it 4.00 watch his bottom lip go. beautiful

  • most bands would kill to have a song like this in their set list. unbelievably fucking good band.

  • Pablo,The Bends, Ok Computer and In Rainbows are by far the best albums, never really got into the "deep and meaningful" Kid A or Amnesiac. Hail to the Thiefs good though

  • pablo honey is a good album, but compared to all of their other albums, it's terrible

if you give kid a & amnesiac multiple listens i will guarantee you will love them

  • and how is, lets say OK Computer not deep and meaningful??? The lyrics were written by Thom about experiences that he had, as was Kid A and Amnesiac. You clearly know jack shit about there music. Just an average over looker.

  • Well that was what I meant, from Kid A and forward he always wanted effects on his voice to make it unrecognizable.

  • there's not many effects on his voice throughout in rainbows?

  • No, would you say that 1999-2002 was at the same time as 2007, or what's your point? People seem to have a problem with reading here.

  • no mate, you said that after ok computer he always wanted effects on his voice to make it unrecognisable, but what i am saying is, there isn't many effects on his voice throughout in rainbows (which is obviously after ok computer), so what you're saying is obviously a load of bollocks

i agree with people seem to have a problem with reading on here, including you sunshine

  • "he kind of said that he couldn't stand it and he also hated his voice at the time"

Please tell me what part of "at the time" you don't understand :)

  • Comment removed

  • Well, he kind of said that he couldn't stand it and he also hated his voice at the time, therefore he allways wanted to but all these effects and reverb and stuff over it.

  • I must say you seem to take things quite literally...

  • Oh I do? So the fact that he and people around him stated that he could stand the sound of his own voice and always wanted more reverb and other effects doesn't mean that he didn't like it then?

  • Or because he hated singing lyrics that was only personal for him for a special occasion and they didn't mean anything for him anymore. And he hated all their early material right before the release of Kid A.

  • nobody sings like tom yorke. i wish i was special

  • 3'24'' Right of screen hand in the air, bad curtains... thats me :0) Best gig of my life... at the time.

  • id die for this song. the best ever

  • Still good, but nothing compares to songs like Idioteque or Reckoner.

  • agreed, almost every song made after pablo honey iss superior to creep...which shows how damn good their tunes are

  • I understand that thom doesnt like playing this song live.

So i think this is a very awesome performance, considering that.

  • Tom you dont have to sing that

  • wot a fucking tune

  • Beautifully done

  • this was when glastonbury was glastonbury and the line up consisted of the best bands in the world. What the hell has happened to it?! Commercial shite nowadays...

  • 2.30.

    orgasms.

  • is this not the main stage or is it before the pyramid stage came into being?

  • It is both the main stage and the Pyramid stafe. There have been various incarnations of the Pyramid stage since 1971.

  • ???

  • that song is like Cocaine! it can get you addicted!

  • not that much loll

  • owesome!!But..

    where is the eyebrow?

  • slow version

  • "THE" version :)

  • This comment page is just all kinds of messed up. Only decent human beings become priests and nuns? One hit wonders? Best albums ok computer and the Bends? I'm obviously having a bad trip. Ciao

  • I agree. But let it be.

  • 3:13 - 3:22 :

Thom looks like a crying baby.

    Excellent performance.

  • THay didn't show the Greenwood Bros that entire song!

  • Personally I think that Creep is the only decent track off of "Pablo Honey." "Ok Computer" and "The Bends" are their best albums.

  • what about blowout?

  • Blow out is fantastic.

  • its amazing how a human being can suffered so much emotionally & physically living in this hate filled planet..Yep human beings are pure Evil..

  • what and who?

  • Weird sounding? I could understand Kid A but the bends and ok computer came next. Listen to a song called Just from the next album and tell me that was weird

  • I think their album The Bends has stuff that you are looking for, if I'm not wrong, grunge or chord riffs, rockish sound. The critically acclaimed OK Computer also has such tone. But I understand if you meant Kid A or In Rainbows, although I am a fan of their alternativeness.

  • you´re wrong...There are songs like "I can´t", "you", and the fantastic "Blow out".....

it´s obviously that you´re not a Radiohead fan.....

  • You read wrongly. I was following up on one guy's comment on radiohead gone weird. So Kid A, OK Computer and the Bends, albums after pablo honey are in question. I was following mongoliancarrot's comment. Read carefully what's going on. By the way I love Blow Out. That's why I dun like to comment on youtube. You miss out one small thing, or one musunderstand, one simple word, and someone hits you like you committed a murder.

  • I'm really sorry my friend....but I thought I replied Popdivison's comment...The one who says that "Pablo honey" sucks....but you're Lunacyproductions...you're not Popdivison....Bye the way...YEs Blow out is very cool song...and I apologize....I made a mistake...God Bless you...see ya later

  • oh ok, that's fine. haha.

  • I'm lunacyproductions, read what that username posted. I wasn't thinking about individual tracks or pablo when I replied. But Let's say I know bends, okc, kida, amne, thief and IR in and out but not pablo, I'm not a fan? That doesn't make me not a radiohead fan. If a fan must be so strict on remembering songs instantly and listening to everything, every details, then I do not have a band that I'm a fan of. It's ur definition of fan.

  • Well....You are right....It's not that I'm so strict...But I thought you were one of those who in their entire life have only listen to "Creep" "Fake plastic" or "Karma Police" and dare to say without even listen to, that Pablo honey, or Ok computer sucks...But...I apologize...Really....I can see you´re not one of them XD....and You´re a fan.....Well dont like Amnesiac...but I like all the other Albums...SO...well God Bless you...And I apologize again....XD

  • just use one period for the love of god.

  • one of the best live performances ever!

  • PLEASE BE THERE 2009 RADIOHEAD!!

  • with a brand new album!!

  • (-Just so you know, I am NOT a hater!!!!-) I like this song, but its not that great. I mean, its a good song, but its just not Radiohead. It's not their style.

  • wat are you talking about this is the only song that made Radiohead popular. before Creep they were a one-hit wonder look at them now
