How were u planning on using your club eyeshadow on your trip to fashion weekend. I seen the quads you had brought and was just wondering. I"m just trying to get more ideas on how to use this eyeshadow.. i love it :)
My make-up bag looks like that too, theres no harm in storing your brushes in the same carrier as your make-up. Your using the brushes on yourself after all! Its totally personal preference! Your amazing and what I aspire to be like when i'm finished with my make-up course... people just like moaning CLEARLY :-)
Shes using this makeup on herself..not clients what is the big deal about keeping brushes in the makeup bag..its probably to save space because shes traveling. even if they are dirty they are her own germs..lol..i dont know why ppl have to pick apart all these makeup gurus..no matter what they find something to complain about..its just a video to show what shes taking while shes on a trip..and ppl take it so seriously and get horrified cause her makeup is touching the brushes..relax..! lol.

do you spot clean or how do you clean your brushes to do makeup on the go like you are doing right now? @zimt1970 all a little precious though isn't it? personally i am far too busy to be OCD over smudges and super duper clean brushes. your prerogative of course, but i don't see where "disappointment" comes into it, she is a busy girl with a busy life and a makeup bag can get a little rough around the edges in a mere few days. it certainly doesn't mean it's swarming with germs, infact not even close.
@monogirl3 You're so spot on. The people who are getting too funny about this are the people who clearly have no idea about how bacteria lives and grows. I'm a biomedical scientist and I can tell you now that a make up bag isn't a great environment for bacteria ergo it doesnt grow very much so it isn't dangerous to be a bit slack with washing your OWN brushes.
mm i love looking in peoples makeup bags! it's like a little present (for me to snoop through and use if i'm so lucky hehe) my friend and i always swap and share! good fun.
gotta say about this whole "cleanliness" deal... personally, when i get a new makeup bag i say, "this is the one that'll i'll keep sparkling clean like new" but that never lasts, bc i'm on the go, tossing makeup in, quickly doing it on the go, etc. nothing can be perfect every single time, :)

i don't understand all these "your bag and brushes are so dirty" reactions. i clean my bag and brushes every two weeks or so... who has time to clean their personal brushes after every bloody use??? if you keep your skin clean you shouldn't need to clean the brushes every day.
obviously her PERSONAL brushes will be dusty when she uses them regularly enough to carry around with her on a train. clearly she doesn't use her own makeup on clients, and the powder from applying her highlighter etc on herself isn't a big deal..

@k112an1 This is most likely her own personal makeup which she uses on herself. Im sure she takes the necessary sanitary precautions when doing a clients makeup.
Of course, my kit I use on clients has to be incredibly sanitary. I don't think it's necessary to keep your personal makeup bag in pristine condition but it is up to the individual. I clean my personal makeup brushes once or twice a week :) x
Do you find that Florabundance lipglass can apply a bit streaky sometimes? I usually have to use a good lip brush rather than the applicator it comes with, and I'm just wondering if it's only mine. :)
@xoFemmeBeauty My florabundance applies fine... it could be your applicator, or maybe i was just lucky and got the only good one. Whichever way, you seem to have found a way which works for you sogood for you :) x

is the 224 concealer brush great for applying concealer? as i have never tryed using a brush before as i just pat under my eye area instead,but when ive seen you apply it in your vids it looks flawless...just wondering if the brush is rough at all for the delicate eye area,as i would like to try that but not waste my money as the brush is expensive... ;)
@Loumetalsinger I started using the 224 for concealer after I saw Tanya using it that way. I have to say I love it and I find I use less product that way too! I don't think it's too rough. Keeping it clean between uses will keep the brush nice and soft.
If you get it and decide you don't like using it for concealer you can always use it as a blending brush! That's what it was actually made for. I now have 2, one for shadow and one for concealer! Hope this helps :)
i am a makeup addict as well, for such a short amount of time, i think one eyeshadow quad and about five brushes would do( all the other things i would take with me as well, and probably one more lipstick). but who cares if its too much or not in anyones opinion, it is your choice!

Def not too much, the right amount IMO I carry a ton of makeup and brushes too when I travel, even for a day. You never know what could happen, better be safe than sorry :)
