  • I thought this film was brilliant. Sure you can criticise, as of any movie, but the best thing about it is it makes you think for a long time afterwards. If a film can make you do that without grossing you out, it's often - especially in this case - an amazing film.

  • i watch this a while ago, and i honestly i don't get the ending :(, could someone explain?

  • Fred Perry track jacket's :)

  • Great film!!!Brilliant music!!! Bill is the BEST.=D

  • Please please please can someone tell me the name of the second song that starts at 0.30. It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  • @cgill3254

  • @normalpsychology thank god i didn't trust you :D

  • This movie was really fantastic, might not be for all people but it's defiantly a really interesting and cute. God, I love all Bill Murray's movie. Sucks that it's like I'm the only teenager that loves movies like these. My friends wouldn't understand

  • @LuvsGalaga I love movies like this would you give any other ones like this maybe

  • @matthill14 Sure, have you tried Lost in Translation? Best one for these kind. OH, this may not stick as a movie like this but I'm sure you'd like it, Babel. Don't get fooled by the trailer, it's actionish but also very emotional, one of my favs. Again, Saving Private Ryan, Never Let Me Go- haven't seen all of it but the trailer is damn good. The movie Gia with Angelina J is fantastic, freaking emotional. Er, sorry, I've got a major brain fart but try em out! If u want more ideas just hit me up

  • @LuvsGalaga Yeah i love Lost in Translation", have you seen "Garden State" or "Wristcutters a Love story" yeah i know how the title sounds but ive only seen the trailer and looks good and "American Beauty" is one of my favourite films, also i only have that problem with my friends :) the look on thier face when i say i wanna see "Wristcutters a love story" :/

  • @matthill14 O DUH. I forgot American Beauty :D guess we got the same taste. haha ill be sure to check out wristcutters and garden state. But you have to see Babel, really good. And I only saw a little of Gia on TV, plus the ending to it but man it's good. OMG, and i forgot to mention Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind. It has Jim Carrey and is just a favorite. And Paprika- by the great Satoshi kon, eh i guess i liked the trailer a lot daz y=] I'm glad i can share these great movies wit sum1.

  • @matthill14 Lol, forgot to say Thirteen, now this is one fantastic movie, the actors/actresses are so amazing that you forget it's fake and you forget everything else for a while. It kind of reminds me of my younger days and if you're going to see one movie that I recommend then I'd say Thirteen is the one.

  • @LuvsGalaga Kay if you should see one film that i recommended to you it would be American Beauty followed closely by Garden State i just can't stop thinking about it and thanks for the recommendations :D see ya!

  • @matthill14 sure, thanx too =D

  • I LOVE ALEXIS DZIENA!! :D

  • This movie was SO BOREING!Bill murrey a beast though, and the soundtrack was great

  • @caninecasey10 *boring *murray is, and its not boring you just don't get it

  • @faboul467 There is an End - by The Greenhornes with Holly Golighty

  • love the sound track of this movie! Ethiopian!

    watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=bDC7oMOnmCc

  • @DavidSanfordE

i love it when her eye winks.

  • is lolita really hannah montana?

  • Very sad movie :(

  • loved the soundtrack of the movie

  • This trailer really doesn't do the movie justice. Excellent, excellent movie. Not that I would expect anything less from Jim Jarmusch.

  • Great motherfucking movie.

  • Bill Murray should have toned it down, his acting is so over the top here. It's like watching Jim Carrey.

  • one of my favorite films, enjoyed this much more than lost in translation.

  • he hardly smilies in this movie .is he even acting lol

  • Such a brilliant movie......but can someone tell me, which one of his exes was the one who sent the letter??? Was it the biker chick who threw him out?? (sorry, i was kinda buzzed when i watched it last night)......

  • @heronmusic2000 He doesn't find out. No happy Hollywood ending here. He gets talking to a guy who he thinks could be his son, unintentionally scares him off and the film abruptly ends. Cool!

  • @arizonabay15 No, actually the guy at the end who drives past Bill Murray and stares at him is Bill Murrays son in the movie and in real life. Its quite a smart ending meaning that the guy who Bill bought food for wasn't actually his son he was just some random guy travelling. I found this out on wiki.

  • @arizonabay15 No, actually the guy at the end who drives past Bill Murray and stares at him is Bill Murrays son in the movie and in real life in his car he is listening to the same music Bill Murrays character was listening to throughout the movie. . Its quite a smart ending meaning that the guy who Bill bought food for wasn't actually his son he was just some random guy travelling who genuinley freaked out.

  • @bowarrful Oops! I didn't pick up on that. The film makes sense now.

  • @bowarrful

The guy passing by in a car at the end wasn't his son. Just couse he looks like Don and listens to the same music doesn't mean he is his son. And what are the chances that a 19 year old teenager finds his father whom he knows nothing about - no name, no history, nothing?

I think this film was trying to tell us that when you are looking for something or someone special then you see the resemblances of it in everything and everywhere, hoping that this is what you were looking for

  • @loll1k yeah i guess so, he is bills son in real life though.

  • @loll1k of course it was his son

  • I loved this movie, but I can see why many people would hate it...

  • worst movie i have ever seen. I didn´t even understood one minute of this. Crap

  • Bill Murray is like a fine wine, and aging like no other. Every movie keeps getting more monotone, more dark and more seeming-less pointless. But you just can't stop drinking the wine. And F if it ain't delicious.

  • I didn't understand the end of the movie :s

  • This trailer makes the movie look way more uplifting than it was.

  • Almost as good as... well, ok... JUST as good as Lost in translation... Simply lovely!

  • Best Film ever made.

  • Saw this at an out of the way theater when it first came out. It was worth the trip in spades...

  • @ytbtgt did you watch the whole video? they're both different trailers....

  • jim's really good at showing american neighborhoods. where the REAL americans live. great film. more funny than jarmusch's other work and as random as life is! :) love jarmusch!

  • We're looking for volunteers to participate in a university study of Broken Flowers and its spectatorship. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. Research results will be shared in the future. Just cut & paste the following link (and take out the spaces) to get to the survey.

    surveymonkey . com / s / brokenflowers

Please do NOT mark as spam. This is for a university study of THIS film. Thanks!

  • You really don't know anything about movies don't you?

  • shut up man

  • No idea about cinema brother

  • Probably because it isn't an action film. Not all films are about the action.

  • extraordinary O.S.T "The" Shit

  • are you stupid?you read one people comment and you dont go watch film..i thing it was very good and funny movie..people who dont have imagination dont get it jim jarmusch movies

  • @ghostdog80 rofl god you're so angry over nothing. you have an extremely fucked up mind

  • The movie is awesome! The atmosphere, the versatile character staged by bill Murray, the contrast between music and picture, and the profile of the american society which is drawed...

  • Hi Andy. We have to disagree, I wasn't expecting Terminator 4. Some of my favourite films are slow and atmospheric - Last year at Marianbad, Wild Strawberries, The Virgin Spring, The Silence etc. Bill was one-dimensional, the script was poor and the plot predictable. The editing was abysmal. And the end, bizarre. I wasn't aware of the music - perhaps it was masked by the noise of people beating their heads against the cinema wall in disbelief. Let's try and find some films we both like!!

  • @AndyLaVie a comment with the word 'drawed' surely doesn't deserve 15 thumbs ups

  • @Stanwriter2000

    Happy trolling.

  • genial bill

  • I think you can only have so many shots of Bill Murray awkwardly staring into nothingness with a slight hint of anguish and despair on his face until a film starts to get old. Broken Flowers was an okay film, but it feels like it tries to hard to be different.

Not only that, but it's hard to really tell why his character goes on this hunt, and what connection he ever could've had with these women.

Again, it was only okay. Definitely not great.

  • Well put, I totally agree. DO like Jarmusch though.

  • You are right, this is no Coffee and Cigarettes, but still, Jarmusch does a good job.

  • :'( where was Ryan Donowho? There was like ONLY one short little tiny, tiny clip of him!

  • one of the funiest movie ever..i want find the sceane where the character says to bill murray" I am an animal comunicator' lol so funny

  • One of favorite cult movie!

  • What is the name of the song in the trailer?

  • The Greenhornes feat. Holly Golightly - There is an end

  • Nice to see Ethiopian jazz getting exposed to larger audience.

  • Hey Jim Jarmusch fans! Check out exclusive clips from Jims new film, The Limits of Control, on the official Facebook page

    facebook [dot] com/The-Limits-of-Control
