I love Medal of Honour as I have the first game, Underground, Rising sun and Frontline.

I personally think there should be a Medal of Honour or Call of Duty game where you play as a lone German soldier who fights in the successful German campains around Europe, North Africa and the early battles of the Soviet Union before the battle of Moscow and Stalingrad. I know my idea is somewhat controversial to some but I'm saying it would be interesting.

I remember playing this game on the PS1 and I got so good at it I could get all head shots on all the enemies in most of the levels. If I died once I would force my self to start over. I got anal with it because it was my only game so I was forced to make up new ways of playing it.

I remember playing the first one back in the day but the game that I loved in the series and is still one of my favourite FPS of all time is Medal of Honor: Frontline. I just loved playing the different missions in it and loved the locations you explored like the Dutch countryside and Arnhem.

@TopThePop1 PS1 controller did eventualy, but you just controlled movement with the D-pad if you didnt have an anologue, pretty good game at the time

My favorite is Allied Assault, maybe because i played that game first, i own a pc so i didnt play the first one, i dont want no thumbs up but i do play Allied Assault in 2011 and that game has sweeet campaign! :)

It looks like a decent game. Much better than Goldeneye. I'm still not regretting waiting for Return to Castle Wolfenstein though. First-person shooters belong behind a keyboard and mouse. And auto-aim just makes me sick.

Medal of Honor had an absolutely amazing soundtrack.

I had become very strongly bonded with that game as a child, ans still play it now sometimes.

It's a source of depression to see what FPS has become from what it was.

I loved Medal of Honor Allied Assault! First FPS I played multiplayer online. Good times back then; nothing quite like that anymore. Although I did think you were gonna do more of a progress look at the first Medal of Honor ---> today's this was more of short history and first game review. Maybe you weren't able to use those weapons in the game because he was JUST recruited to join, and they either 1- didn't trust him, 2- he didn't know how to use them 100%

Really appreciate this review. You're right on the money, esp on the ambiance in the sewers. What disappoints me about EVERY game since is that they have not been able to reproduce the feel of the original moh. Anyone of course who has played this game knows what I mean. The music was essential! Most war games fit you into the role of an average soldier. The followup to moh on ps got a tad silly (as was Airborne), and it wasn't the classic feel. Good review, tempted to buy a second copy.

great video as always. i first started this series with frontline, still one of the best fps games ive ever played. after that, i didnt really get too into them, but i fondly remember the storming of a beach in the beginning of frontline to this day. pretty sure jimmy patterson was the main character in that game too and that they included it with the latest version of MOH on the ps3. good stuff that game.

I have Frontline for the GameCube, My brother and cousins and I would stay up all night playing four player split screen. I always played as the old woman Nana. We thought it was hilarious to see an old woman running around with a machine gun. There was also a guy wearing boxers my cousin would always play as.

One of the greatest FPS series of all time? Saying that's a stretch would be a complete understatement. There only have been a few good MOH and only two that were truly great. The good being the original, Underground, and Pacific Assault. The great being Frontline and Allied Assault which is the best in the series. The rest ranged from average to downright dull if you ask me. I can name over a dozen superior FPS franchises, and no I'm not a big COD fan.

I have played the game back when it came out and I recently revisited it, I do have to say the sound production aged beautifully by today's standards, gameplay not so much, I dunno, I find the controls kind of stiff, and that was a deal breaker for me. But that is my opinion.
