I used to manage a men's dance group hear in Memphis The Magnificent Seven. We all worked on the steps running up the walls etc. Head flips, splits, Dangerous work, competition from all over personal and dance these guys are Sick, with this dance group it gets really sick, Wicked they raised the bar again for all dance groups, The ill-est, Great, Nelly and Mcgraw song over over at the end got to any one who ever preformed in the world. Nice touch! Good Job.

I think these guys actually did a great job. they all had talent, and working together as a group helped them win. susan boyle is a great singer, but pulling together a show like this might have taken more work and planning than singing a song.

You cannot compare them though. Yes- Diversity WERE amazing, and yes Susan Boyle WAS amazing, and you can't really say one is better that the other because their acts are worlds apart. Susan boyle didn't come 2nd because of her age/looks, and she wasn't out shone...and tbh, she's gonna get a record deal now anyway, so everyone's a winner!

Good point. Although to sing a song well or to paint a painting requires many years of preparation, even though the act itself may take very little time. What I find amazing about these dance groups is that as a group they can create a unique expression that no one or two dancers can create. That's not to say one or two dancers can't also do something great, but the numbers here allow for a different type of creation. In there time, dancing in old musicals might have had a similar reaction.

you're talking about it not selling...but look where britains got talent got susan boyle! if she had won, it's obvious she would have sold! it wasn't based on her looks or age, it was based on talent. and susan boyle can sing, and yes, can sing very well...but how many acts like this come around in a life time? it's a variety show that they're competing for, so i think it's great there's gonna be some variety. go diversity :)
