Reasons are that the Russians also bombed the city, which btw is Georgian, that the Russians massively bombed positions, facilities and cities in whole of Georgia, killing dozens of people. Georgian Special Forces went into the city before bombing began and they reported that the city was clear of civilians but that they meat heavy resistance. Massive fire was ordered. Some 250 to 800 Georgian civilians are reported as killed or missing after Russians and Ossetians started to loot Georgian villages. That is the truth.

Reasons are that the Russians also bombed the city, which btw is Georgian, that the Russians massively bombed positions, facilities and cities in whole of Georgia, killing dozens of people. Russians are guilty for invading Georgian territories far off from the actual conflict zone.

Georgian Special Forces went into the city before bombing began and they reported that the city was clear of civilians but that they meat heavy resistance. Massive fire was ordered. Some 250 to 800 Georgian civilians are reported as killed or missing after Russians and Ossetians started to loot Georgian villages. That is the truth.

Also about "smart people". How can anyone actually believe this "Star Trek" like episode that Georgian army just out of boredom decided to shell a town with civilians? And then, also out of pure "Doctor Evil" feeling half attacked Russian outposts. The entire idea even sounds ridiculous. However using Grads vs invading Russian army is far more logical and plausible.

@killdozerable Dont lie, it is not globally recognised at all. Especially after Russians were caught up on the lie about 2000 killed, flattened Tshinvali and when they were showing Russian air strikes of Gori as attack of Georgians on Tshinvali. Whole Russia isn not stupid, but huge amount of people keep repeating the same fairy tales of Russian media , however ridiculous they are.

I'm not going to lie to you.A month ago I was with my brother returned from Tskhinvali to the youth festival.We were guests of the event.From Volgograd(I am from Volgograd)to Tskhinvali is not so far away,all day on the bus.I asked the people of this city about this war.Tears,pain and suffering of many.And not Russian destroyed the city.If you want, come and see for yourself,instead of a Congress,if you're interested.And it is pleasant to find a civilized opponent.
