I don't know what's the context of this song in its original game, but for me this one gets first place (displacing Dancing Mad) in the "Oh my god it's the end of the world and we can't do nothing about it D:" category XD
Not that Dancing Mad is bad (it's one of my favorites)
but this one emphasizes more on the "we can't do nothing about it" part
It sounds like it belongs in Parasite Eve 1.
