En realidad este templo no se ocnstrullo com o un templo islamico, funcion para el cual no es apropiado, por su orientacion y por el propio bosque de columnas. Heredaba su aspecto inicial: el bosque de columnas, y solo fue ampliado y luego decorado con motivos musulmanes. .
