This my friends is what you call true love. Victoria loved Albert more than he loved her. It would always make me cry everytime I would watch this movie again and again seeing how passionate they feel for each other. Victoria never remarried. Emily and Rupert made this very very good. Hands down ♥

I'm not one to watch the credits of a movie. But this song made me stop and listen. It's beautiful. And it matches the movie nicely. I am married and this song made me realize how grateful I should be. To be in love with someone who respects me, loves me and opened my life to a world I would have never known. I love it when the ending song is so good that you can't just get up and walk away. (I haven't heard an ending song this good since Titanic.) "Young Victoria" was really well done (acting, costumes, settings, photography, score), but with "Only You" at the end, I was totally won over. when you say released you mean dvd do you? the film was premiered in canada already in sept 2009 at the toronto international film festival and as you know played in toronto in december. it played for a month in waterloo, ontario and is coming back for two days in march 2010 when i plan to see it again

Well.. it's strange it hasn't been out on DVD in the USA yet...because I live in the Netherlands and even here I can rent or buy the movie.. and this really is a small country.. it always takes ages before a film comes out on DVD.. Saw this film this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was not familiar with the political challenges Victoria faced when she inherited the throne so this was very informative along with being entertaining.  I would recommend that people see/rent the film, Mr and Mrs Brown about Victoria after Albert passes away - a kind of coda to her throne.

Good film. Emily Blunt is a pretty girl that reminds me of Kate Winslet and makes a perfect young Victoria. Too bad that Paul Bettany's character had no depth (that man survived some scandals), because he was perfect in that role.

I would have liked to see the Kensington System in action more and perhaps concentrated on how Victoria was warped and how she developed as a person because of her circumstances. How her resentment of her mother evolved, and Sir John.

Actually they didn't get it spot on. Albert didn't get shot for Victoria. But there love was beautiful. Sad when he died. But at least she found love with that Brown guy :)
