Adie's pupil is benign. At least you don't have a horribly debilitating disease that is going to ruin your life. And doctors very frequently care about fixing aesthetic problems (see: plastic and/or reconstructive surgery). If you are so very concerned about the condition, why don't you research it and attempt a cure? Since your mental capacities are in no way affected by Adie's pupil this should be easy, right? I am so sick of people harping on doctors and science...
i have this problem too... but it happend when i was on really stress and situation smoking alot of weed and sleep bad... and my left eye triping... is this eye gonna be okey? because i dont like to have it... anyone knows? lol ;/
glad to know more people have this too. i never have seen a Dr about it but I have had it since i was a baby but I was the only one to notice it but never worried cause my vison is a shitload better than a normal persons but have always hated looking people in the eye real close cause they trip out on it .
One of my pupils is bigger than the other but is not noticeable unless you look hard. They change in the light and dark. I'm pretty scared but it says 20% of normal people have this?
I would liketo create a web site about Anisocoria or Anisocoria International Society.
I saw the frustration of many pepole across websites and on health forums and doctors dont give relevance about this disturb neither know the causes.
If you have phisiological anisocoria or adie's pupil or Horner, We should mobilize in order to find a first time solution for these problems. You reasons to solve uneven pupil can be esthetic or pathological. If you want to contribute. Email me on here.
@max10wonderboy not a fix but I have been on pain management for almost 5 years now and notice that the Opiod (percocet /vicodin) pain killers actually make them the same size but there is a side effect . By no means would take that stuff just to get the right size but take it for moderate to sever pain only but just saying if you happen to have surgery or have taken one for some kind of CP or acute pain look at your pupils I bet they will be the same size but smaller a side effect of it
I've had this ever since I was a kid. But now at the age of 28, my eye anisocoria eye hurts. Getting this check on Thursday.

pilocarpine can cause miosis can't it? would phenylephrine eye drops work safer?
Ninjahh666 1 year ago
I wish there was a treatment for this condition, but docotrs dont care if is only for estetic reasons.
max10wonderboy 1 year ago
There are treatments depending on the cause. One is to wear a contact lens, another is to use pilocarpine eye drops.

Thank you for your information, but I still do not consider those treatments, because they dont treat the problem but only the cause.
A real treatment of ansacoria is still science fiction and we will see it in many years
