  • Can you play Boombang on it xd?

  • Does it have a 5.1 soundcard?

  • It lagged when he put his finger on it... lol

  • I got the one with the integrated graphics :(

  • When they're going to do one of those but for artists? Kind like a wacon cintiq, but better?

  • it's basically a laptop with a big screen. the graphics only score a 4.4 in the experience index.

and after a year of ownership the samsung HD is failing.

so now I have to go spend another $143 for windows and the HD. awesome..

  • It is crap games lag like hell and it is slow trust i have one another thing after about 4 months the touchscreen will stop working for a while tje keyboard breaks easily and it is a con i would rate the video 5 but the computer 1

  • OMG! i want this!!

  • Doesnt lag LOL

  • thats a sexy pc! =D

  • can i plug a dvi cable to it??????????

  • @justinlsloker17

umm yea you can its like all the hp computers but touch XD

  • Just ordered mine too! AMAZING!

  • Well the Analogue TV Tuner is pretty stupid since the digital switchover is happening.

  • there is no place were u can get it cheapest but the best place in the u.k is pc world and itz goin 4 £1200 and the vesion upper iz £1500

  • where is the cheapest place to buy this in the uk

  • i got one XD

  • Im Getting This Today

  • Does it support 5.1. surround Speakers?

  • can you still download limewire and bittorrent and shit like that? im really thinking about getting one but not if it cant do that shit.

  • @JustinIsJoker17 You can do all that. It is like a normal computer with touch capability. If you don't want to use the touch for something, just plug in a mouse.

  • JUST ordered it and cannot WAITTT 2 get it!!!!!

  • Touch the Fu#$er PC! xD

  • cool.! i want one of it!..

  • how do i turn off the touchscreen mode and the noise it makes when u touch the screen ? i forgot how to do it..

  • XD i want it want it want now!!! mom

  • Ordered it today cant wait to get it :P

  • @Brumle4ever i have ti and its awesome!

  • wow this looks like a TV!

  • that was the coolest screen i have ever seen.

  • But ignoring those people, This is a pretty cool PC, for anything other than gaming or 3D work. My dad bought the 25.5, and it's pretty slick.

  • People saying this is good for gaming.... ROFL. please. the thing has a notebook proc, DDR2-667! jeez at least put in 800, or better yet, DDR3. an Nvidia 9300 M GS. not only is it a 9300, but it's the mobile version. The touchsmart is pretty much a non-portable laptop. And please, show me any gpu halfway awesome game that would run flawlessly on this machine.

  • Half Life 2, CS:S, Far Cry, BF2 should all work at max settings easily at a medium resolution like 1280 x 800 w/o anti-aliasing. Hell Crysis would run at minimum settings if you really wanted to test it. The 9300M isn't too bad, but it of course isn't a proper GPU for gaming these days. I know you can get these things with a 9500M though, which is a revision of the 8600M and would be close in performance to the desktop 8600GT which can run Crysis at medium settings.

  • Does this pc model have a built in backup drive. I think the 900 series does.

  • yea i use it the same as the mouse

  • i play around with the touchsmart at the ataples at the shopping center near me

  • i have this computer its freakin kick ass

  • do you use the touch screen more than a mouse

  • you use the touch and mouse together it is kind of hard to explain it but it starts to become second nature and then when you go on a different computer you try to touch the screen and it doesn't work

  • must be embarrasing in public

  • does this thing has the dual monitor capability?

  • i love this dude u are the man!!!!!!1

  • Anyone have any idea how well this works with music production software? Can I use the touchsmart with any application, like video games, etc...?

  • What is this, like $5000?

  • ok i have a question i have a hp pavillon amd 64 live with vista and i just go thte acasdemy is cd yesterday and i put it on my computer and it wont eject it so if anyones knows how to fix that reply grestly apprecitated thanks =]

  • so the hp touchsmart pc doesnt have a tower? thats very awsome!

  • ....that thing will be more worthwhile if it had multi touch function

  • it will once windows 7 comes out

  • i cant wait for the future imagine a sony touch smart, a 46" 1080 high definition with HDMI 700gb Hard drive w/ 10gb of memory i mean imagine it. i would buy it even if i dont eat for a whole month i dont care i just really cant wait for a computer like that comes out.

  • @639426 hi greetings from the future, they already exist :3

  • is this thing upgradable?

  • OMG!! i want so fcking bad!!

  • Dude, you can get this for $1300 at BestBuy.

  • seems like the screen's going to be perpetually smudged...

  • at 8 seconds in that is a perfect that wat she said

  • nope, this is better

  • @colintay909

Wow. You're moron. How exactly is it better?

  • well ok... lets see i have a 512 video card,

3.06 GHz processor.... overall design of the imac is better, this thing has all its ports all over the place, i dont even think you can adjust the screen angle on this thing... it also uses vista which is a pile of crap. this thing would be better if you could use xp but i am guess that software wont work with xp. maybe in the future when windows 7 comes out and you dont have to use that hp software, maybe this would be ok.

  • So, for 1000 dollars more, you have a slightly faster graphics card and processor? Nice.

ANd how is Vista "a pile of crap"? Something tells me you haven't used it and just drink the Apple Kool-aid.

Oh, and it has a touch screen.

  • slightly faster? does this even have a graphics card?

also vista requires A LOT more hardware power to run, notice when you look at system requirements for software there is often separate requirements for vista.

Im not sure what you mean by Apple Kool-aid but no i am not a apple fan boy, i have other computers that have windows... actually my laptop had vista but i down graded it to xp because vista is a waste.

so yeah, anyways linux beats all anyways so i dont care what you have to say.

  • Did you watch the video? It does have a video card. Vista doesn't really require THAT much hardware power to run. And if you turn off the aero effects, you're good to go. Furthermore, it's obvious that in this computer, which IS running Vista, things are nice and fast (notice how many times the reviewer says things are fast). So your point is invalid. I've used Vista for two years, and XP can't touch it. Oh, and enjoy playing mainstream games on Linux.

  • enjoy getting viruses on vista :) and why would you buy this computer for gaming?

  • Er, never got a virus on Vista. Unlike you, I know how to use a computer (I built mine, three times), and I have free software that keeps me safe. And I never said this computer would be good for gaming. I said Vista allows you to play mainstream games. Linux doesn't.

  • and also that sucks that you need to turn off features of your OS to make it work properly... haha thats too bad my computers can run their OS flawlessly

  • What features do I have to turn off? UAC? Wow...you're right. I have to turn off UAC so the computer will work properly. You got me there!

  • Dude, vista sucks. Aero in vista sucks up so much of your system resources that it needs to be turned off. UAC, yeah thats a joke too, got to be turned off due to the annoyance factor. Why would M$ even put a feature like that in an os? Hands down, any day, any hardware, any *nix distro will crush windows. viruses and windows, yeah, it may be a matter of know what to do and not do, so you dont get one, with *nix, viruses arent even an issue. you come off as such a moron, i had to comment.

  • You're an idiot. Vista is the most stable OS I've ever come across. Aero does use more RAM but it's easy to turn off. And if you know how to use a computer, you don't need UAC, but for the dummies who get viruses, it's something they should use. I can do anything a *nix OS can do, and more. My software choices far outweigh any competing OS, and I never get viruses because I take precautions. Of course viruses aren't an issue with *nix, neither is software, games, or productivity. Dumbass.

  • Couple of words for you. Wine & Cedega. Between those programs, games will run. Provided you know how to configure your system, and that means doing slightly more than pointing and clicking, like you do with windows. Also, seeing how software that is being developed for the most, for free, on linux, works, just as well if not better than what your paid developers are making, thats pretty damn good for free. Productivity, not computer related, that problem exists between the keyboard & chair.

  • You're kidding yourself if you think Wine and Cedega are perfect solutions. They are barely passable. And having full game support using those? Please! Plus, you again have to use WINDOWS in order to run those games, so you prove my point in any case. There are tons of free software available for windows, more than on linux, so that point is moot.

  • Umm, last time i checked, wine is not windows, it is definately and emulator, but windows, not a chance. So yeah, wine and cedega are solutions. Tons and tons of free software for windows, also tons and tons of viruses, and other good stuff to mash up your system.

  • Wine is a windows emulator. To make a distinction that "it is not windows" is specious at best, disingenuous at worst, and laughable in either case. You can rail against windows all you want, but you're still using it because it works. And the viruses argument is inane. Anyone who really knows how to use a computer won't get a virus, and Vista is less susceptible to viruses than XP. Furthermore, those who DON'T use computers well will benefit from VIsta's UAC, which you previously derided.

  • To point out one more thing. Youre not able to right click an iso file, and burn it to disc, without the help of a third party application. Thats one thing vista cant do, and has been going on in Linux for years. I heard windows 7 has this ability, i cant say for sure. If it can, im glad to see windows is finally catching up. Need i go on about things that your os CANT do, that mine CAN by default? Nah, & btw, I run windows, Xp. I was talkin about vista. In case you didnt read what i wrote.

  • Wow, what a great argument. Iso files aren't burned by default. That's a deal breaker! Oh wait, download a free third party alternative and you're good to go within minutes. THAT'S your ammo against Vista? Please try again.

  • One of many thousand points I could make, but the most important one being this...... Any non-Microsoft OS does it, Microsoft copies it. Im pretty sure that one has been proven time and time again. Another note, like i said, i use windows, Xp. I said vista sucks, because it does. Y else would would MS bail on it and rebrand it( with some new features) as their next release. I hope they get their sh!t straight with win7. Debian, Arch & XP are what i use, arch mostly.Realy the games run.ammo that

  • I can name things from ANY OS that have been copied by MS, Apple, Linux...everyone takes things from each other. This happens in any competitive environment, so this point of yours has no teeth. Vista does not suck, it is an excellent OS. MS had to "bail" on it because of the bad reputation garnered by people who never even used it! Windows 7 is a better Vista, but both OS's are excellent. Have fun with your emulators...of Windows. I'll just enjoy the real thing.

  • Bail on it and rebrand it? How short is your memory?

    Win3.1-95 - 3 years

    Win95-98 - 3 years.

    Win98-ME/2000 - 3 years.

    Win2k-XP - 1 year

    WinXP-Vista - 6 years

    Vista-7 - 2 years

Windows has traditionally had only 3 years or fewer between releases. XP was the only exception.

  • I bought this computer when it first came out and i love it! its so fast and the tuner is great. no complaints. get one if you can!

  • can you explain to me what the tv tuner is? Like can you record shows? does it take up a lot of space? do you have to have a specific cable? i ordered the cvomputer but i would like to know how to use it

  • ignorant morons talking crap out of their mouths about multitouch. stop spreading BS about Apple innovation because you dont know jack about tech history. multitouch goes back to the 80's and Apple did nothing but having insider info to buy Fingerworks which is ONE of the many companies that have SOME of the many multitouch patents that now belong to Apple. They did nothing but bringing a product to the market faster than competition. Other multitouch products existed years before iPhone so STFU

  • We've seen different form factors before, and they soon become outdated because they are so 'non-conventional'.

Just taking off a cover would be handy to access it inside. What about cleaning and dust. I bet it would all 'clog up' inside after 3 months! - then you probably couldn't take it to bits to vacuum it out.

It looks great and has everything, until practical simplicity is ordered than its... "sorry mate you need to return it to us to have the bios battery changed".! No thanks.

  • Does this have a bios battery? It's a good question. The time can always be adjusted off the net or tv, though. Maybe it doesn't need a battery?

  • It plugs in so probably not

  • grt PC. comes around 1300CAD is not bad.

  • It is a cool pc.Babies are delivered by birds to your door

  • idk

  • how are babies made?

  • Eat a lot of tacos.

You should know by the next day.

    Push baby, push.

  • does anyone know if the 22 inch won plays blu ray?

  • I don't think this does blu ray. The ones with blu ray are about a thousand dollars more.

  • HA no they are 80 dollars more and YES you can upgrade to them. I got mine with blu-ray

  • yes, you can upgrade for 80 dollars more for bluray

  • hi jis got one of these and was wondering does anybudy know if u can put your xbox360 or any other game console into it ? plz get bk to me :)

  • lol BOOM!!

  • i have this and what he said is all true!!! what he left out was that you can change the ambient light which makes it look maaannn cool in the dark, its like a laser show :-O

  • Very nice I wish I had it.. Would be great for my live strema.

  • I WANT IT!!!

  • No multi touch

No vga/dvi port for plugging and extra screen

fast but no go for me and the touch function is a bit slow I want something where I can be in vista not any special hp software environment and be able to use multi touch

  • Actually, yes, it does have multi touch.

  • no it doesn't, it probably has something similar, but apple created multi touch.

  • The military created multi touch. -_-"

  • so no 32-bit version?

  • Probably the biggest ''Tablet PC'' ever made...

  • they have a 25 inch one

  • 25.5 =D

  • Is this a review or is he trying to sell it?

  • COOL!

  • If you like to watch porn, do not buy this unless you get a mouse with it.

  • i think i just jizzed

  • nice like the iphone/itouch

  • How is this like the iphone/itouch , this is HP's second model , there first touchscreen was in 06 , think before you say things dumbass .

  • Well the person who wrote that was my brother. I didn't sign off Youtube last time i was on there. He isn't a woman. And women aren't stupid, Men are

  • Nice! But i like my computer(HP Pavilion m9257). =)

  • nice

  • Nice, much better than the expensive sony all in ones, that aren't even touch screen. Can't believe that this is only $1,400!

  • "discrete graphics onboard" lol

  • if it was 32 bit. i would buy it

  • play crisis on this

  • i dont think it could handle the graphics of games like crisis though so this PC is proubally only for casual pcers lol if thats a word

  • omg obviously it wouldnt geez. its ment to be a media centre type pc not a full gaming computer. WOW you must be a smart person if you figured out that it wouldnt play Crysis well. or is this something you say to everything? 'wow check out my new nokia N96 it does everything' "i dont think it could handle crysis" this is what makes guys think women are stupid, because of the ones that think they know stuff and make themselves look stupid

  • cool, but useless.

  • I wonder how it would work with ubuntu?

  • Wouldn't it be awesome using a touch interface to spin the desktops about!

  • 0:55 sec. "it doesn't lag" and it did when he scrolled it ???

    :S

  • haha, agree. I lol'd :)

  • i thinks its cause hes using his finger to scroll..i bet if he used a mouse /keyboard it wouldnt have lagged look at 6.40

  • Talk about a copy of the imac. There is even a powercord coming out of the whole in the back. just like the imac.

  • yeah it's iMac G5 meets iPhone/iPod Touch.

  • Go nag else where!

  • whats the firewire port for?

  • Usually video cameras.

  • I've never even used a device that came with a firewire cable before. It's always been USB. I guess it's one of those things that'll disappear into history.

  • Firewire runs at 400Mbps and with special cards 800Mpbs. It's been around a while and isn't meant to replace USB. At one time they thought Firewire would replace the RCA cables for your TV components, but to no avail.

  • Yeah, but how much is it?! XD

  • HP well done, this is a winner, just need to get their customer service up to premium as thier products and then consumers will be asking Apple who?/!!!!! Me Like

  • i still prefer my imac 100%

that programa he is using looks like the iphone OS

  • its and iMac rip off especially the mouse and keyboard.

  • stfu with your iMac shit , worst company to get a PC from , i regret ever getting me that stupid mac pro

  • Freaking AWESOMEEEEEEEEE ME WANT!

  • you would think it could support HDTV out of the box, knowing that Analog TV will be phased out

  • wow 64bit thats a nintendo 64 or a playstation

  • lol i hope your kiding

  • ...

are you a caveman or really old or what? the days when you could measure the power of something by the bits is way long gone. i hope you were joking...

  • lol

  • Can u play games on it???

  • yes....

  • yes and no. the graphics card on it is for multimedia purposes. meaning itll play movies and do art or whatever multimedia but you won't be able to play top-notch video games on it. (it will play average or lesser games fine however)

  • cool

  • I don't like how he describes everything in great detail... He wastes alot of time like that.

  • boom... not bad for a super thin pc.

  • what is this crap t5850....fast? 4 gigs ddr2 mem running at 667 mhz? sure it has lots of ram but only 667 mhz?

  • cool...i want it. nice vid.

  • An iPhone running Windows mobile? And you said it asif that's a good thing? My god I've heard some pretty stupid shit, but you take the biscuit.

  • i just quoted a lil thang tha dude said in the beginning "its like a iphone" and i jus simply added the phrase "running on windows mobile" so that stupid shit u heard was the guy in this video

  • aight G.

    Whatever, wigger. :)

  • r u racist?
