Regardless these trains are still fun to ride. They have an interurban look to them. I like that more than the performance of the cars. Double or single car, pantographs, sharing operation with trolleys. So cool!
i've never seen those trains go over 50, and usually they go much slower than that . I have now idea why it is called the "rapid." Good marketing gimmick, I guess

thats the point between Puritus RTS station and Brookpark. some of the trains can match speeds with the cars on I-71 and do around 65 to 68mph.
