  • Bach would smile and applaud watching this video.

  • This reminds me of the version from the Catherine game.

  • nice.

  • This is Bach! Bach wrote thinking only in music, not in instruments, then, his music could be played with anything instrumental ensemble.

Sorry for my bad English, but this is not my idiom.

  • Bulacanos > I feel the same sentiments for her. Miku and her friends lives in our hearts !

  • I had my doubts before I heard this. Again I prove to myself never to judge a book by its cover or a video by its poster frame. The simplicity of sound brings the beauty from Bach's genius forward like no other version I've ever heard. Truly awesome.

  • I want to hug her and squeeze her oh go, what is this feel inside of me, she is just a vocaloid

  • Mother of God. Why.

  • is there a toccata or prelude? or is this just the fugue itself?

  • @CptSpiffyPanda There is no toccata nor prelude. Hence this piece is called the "Little Fugue".

  • I don't know what just happened, but... I kind of liked it.

  • uf!!! esta increíble

  • This fugue is incomplete, some measures in the middle is cut off and we go directly to the climax from 1:35

  • bach's genius is never ending

  • This is the "Little" Fugue...as far as I know? (And remember)

  • @TheTimeTraveler100 yes this is little but the full name was Fugue in G-minor BWV 578 or little for short

  • Dooooooooo doooo dooooo Laaaa La La. LAAA DOO LAAA La LA Do DO Da Do Baaaaa Ba...Hahaha this if funny

  • There is no amount of badassery to say about this, it is truly a great work of art.

  • How pleased do you think Bach is to know people still love and enjoy his music even 260 years after his death? ^^

  • @HawkyStudios Pleased that he's remembered sure. Can't say how he'd feel about his song being played on a trio digital anime girls though.

  • @TwistedGentleman Considering that he was pretty experimental and created some of his music by solving math puzzles he probably would have approved of it.

  • @TwistedGentleman If I were Bach, I'd be thrilled to see my music being challenged against every new instrumental generation that comes up. It is the mark of musical purity that his music can prove against each new development.

  • Apparently, Bach wrote his music for the express purpose of being played by an artificial and awesome computer anime-girl. That is the only thing I can think of to explain how AMAZING this sounds.

  • bach goes with every style! genius!

  • lol. But voice 3 and 4 are nearly imperceptable.

  • @fnog9 They're a bit low for her (not unimpressive) range.

  • @Dumaiu Yes, I know that.

  • I love this

  • Love this, unique and fun.

  • wow that was just funny but is exelent

  • Too short :/

  • Proof that two rights (Miku and Bach) outweigh a wrong (Kage Bunshin no Justu). ^_^;

  • This is a perfect example of what kind of genius Bach is. He is God of structure. With those crystal clear computer voices, it's so easy to see he is aiming something beyond the sound of the instrument. Even in such a short aomunt of time, the gate opens for you to reveal the mysteries of the universe.

I have no problem to fill my eyes with tears. There is something very true about this version.

  • @ttwiligh7 I love you for that comment! :')

  • @ttwiligh7 mysteries of the universe = =?

  • @ttwiligh7 Bach was envisioning a future "perfect" instrument that would perfectly convey all voices in counterpoint in utmost clarity and sonority. Clearly, Bach thinks FAR ahead among all composers.

  • @mtv565 That's quite possible, for I believe this is faily close to the way he heard each voice in his brain.

You know, my father prefer Mozart saying "Bach is too old to listen" To me it's opposite though I love Mozart, too. I think Bach is extremely modern, and will continue to be so, because of his sense of abstruction, the higher level of recognition of the world, that I can't quite explain in words.

  • @ttwiligh7 Exactly! Many of Bach's works sound like modern contemporary music!

  • Nice sound. I like this Bach Fuge in G minor version XD

  • i ♥ miko + i ♥ this song = :3

  • very impressive and that bubbly gummy weirdness i love

  • what is a world without Bach?

  • lol! how cool!

  • haha awesome....sounds like something out of Disgaea =)

  • What I really like about this version is because of its synthetic nature (it is a vocaloid synthesizer) you can easily hear all three melody lines. That is all what I hate about it, it lacks the power and overtones that the organ and live voices make.

    というか正直、初音ミク聞くのも初めてです^^;

  • Miku Miku Miku <3

  • The vibrato in the end was kinda wierd... o.o

  • omg thats incredible

  • lol, that's great. It's perfect for understanding the voices in a fugue.

  • lol. I see I have been given thumbs down seven times on this song. I came back to listen to this once more because as I said before it made me laugh so I figured it'd be worth another laugh and I see seven thumbs down for my comment.

Apparently some folk cannot laugh at themselves or the things they love.

I still stand by what I said.

Oh and this video made me laugh again.

  • Okay this is one of my most favorite songs of all time and this video made my head hurt... Mostly because I was slamming it against the wall trying to comprehend why someone would do this.

It's fairly annoying, increadibly stupid, and I'm certain Bach would facepalm at hearing this before openly weaping.

HAVING SAID THAT HOWEVER, I lol'd

If you can't laugh at yourself or the things you love you don't deserve to laugh at anything.

    No rating

  • lol This made me smile. <3 Miku

  • this is so awesome where can i download it or buy it i dont care , i just care that i need it

  • this is AWSOME! dont kno relly what it is but i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!

  • JAMAS IMAGINE BACH CON VOCALOID, hermosa pieza

  • How do you make this? I know how to make the singing, but what I don't know is how to make Miku show up there and actually blink and sing with her lip syncing with the music. If anyone know PLEASE REPLY...

    Thanks!

  • i think he took the time to actualy draw it...

but ive seen this in other vids so i could be wrong

  • I think the pic is the same for most of them

It's just the mouth and the eyes that are reanimated depending on the song

but nonetheless awesome^^ it's hard to animate even mouths

  • yes.... it is a real pain to animate

  • well done!

  • cute

  • there is a song called cold in fugue season... I is based on this piece. I learned it in children's choir. good times... good times. 5/5

  • lol

  • This is probably the best video I've ever seen on youtube. I really love BWV 578 and the visual cues make it easier for a non-musician like myself to understand.

  • Hm... the second part came on sounding like Yowane Haku.

  • excelente video , muy creativo

    felicidades!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow just wow

  • there is a whole part missing, but great job anyway

  • OMG!!!! Fugue in G minor is one of my favourites songs.

  • Oooh, I wish there was the full 11 minute version of Tocatta & Fugue in D minor with Hatsune Miku.

  • you kicked my a*s

  • amazing... wow, how did you animate that! amazing! great song, great art, great syncing! * * * * * !

  • She appears to be fluent in the language of counterpoint. She should stress the major third at the end, not the highest note.

  • I love it when Miku sings classical music!
