If you are left handed...please use your left hand..it is ok! But if you grew up in Ethio you wd learn to eat using the right hand even if u r leftie and u wd do fine with practice from childhood. sometimes left handed kids are made fun of 'cause they couldnt use their rt hand ..:(
No, there is no rigid rule that says that one has to use right hand to eat Ethiopian food! The general rule is that one has to WASH one's hand - left or right - before & after eating "Ethiopian food". I used the phrase in a quotation mark because this type of food originated from just ONE tribe of Ethiopia (the ruling &/or dominant tribe) & the food types of the other 79 tribes of Ethiopia, unfortunately, do not even get a mention. It says a great deal about Ethiopia....
She is cute little Chines reporter in little Ethiopia community in LA. The reporter should also show or post the rest of videos that she recorded. It is tantalizing to see little Chines reporter on Ethiopia related subjects that I have not seen them reporting before on issues related Ethiopian.

it's an unwritten rule to use the right hand when you eat. Please respect that cause it has noting to do with the ruling tribe!
