  • battle of the originals!! =)

  • great battle ... it was even better when i saw it live in miami,fl ... remind was on super fire that day .... abstract is good but he got shook when he remind banging out combos and mad tricks....

  • abz was off and was still better. footwork alone took this

  • remind was too much, wasnt really close. HOWEVER abstract is really nasty dont be fooled. on the flip Remind also is way better now than ever....Remind vs Kmel coming soon in CALI

  • OMG that brings back so many memories! One of the most Insane Legendary battles ever!

  • everyone does reminds 'go down' now

  • remind is good but ab won this by a landslide.

  • battle of epic proportions

  • remind & crumbs are 4 me the best. everybody should know that. I dont know what would happen without them with me and the scene, I mean my motivation. nowhere you can see the vibe, the own expression and the dynamic like by them. I feel the same when I hear music but as dancer you need at the beginning someone who show you what bboyin is. and they did it!

  • Thanks for sharing Monkey! Never even knew this battle took place.

  • going ten rounds 1 on 1 is insane

  • Fan-bloody-tastic battle man. I never got what all the hype bout remind was til I saw this clip- doods slick. But Abstraks a beast! With a battle this dope, does it matter who won?

  • remind :)

  • props to remind abstrak def looked hurt hes my fav bboy his footwork and transitions are serious but remind had more energy in this battle..

  • Remind took it. No smoke show. a 5-4 decision (don't count the last round, the beat sounded like a conclusion so there was no battle left). Honestly, that 5-4 ruling could've gone either way, but remind was too much for Ab in the first 3 rounds. Though Ab won the next 3 (he was killin it in the middle of the battle), his rounds weren't as substantial. Just my opinion.

  • 9 minutes of blackbelt jones followed by the least hype beat of all time.

    abstract took it.

  • can some please put up kmel vs reveal

  • are you an idiot?

  • YOUR MAMA'S WACK!!!!

  • wow what a terrible video quality

  • i wish they wouldhave played a couple of different songs during the battle....

nothing can change the potental outcome like a good beat can.....

  • come on today, is there anybody with more originality or true bboy creativity than abstrak?

  • ohhhhh yes.....remind

  • Remind vs. Abstrakt!

    Dope!

    When was this?

  • yeah abstract is very dope hes not known hes more of an underground type bboy. He definetly has a raw style. I would say hes one of the top bboys who can rip it in a straight footwork battle. without any hype(respect)

  • Abstrak has a huge style that covers a lot of floor. As someone said below, "wildstyle". His style, I swear, out of all breakers, is probably one of my favorites. I know he's not huge or anything, but, yeah, I saw that "chico got to..." battle on the bboy instructional dvd, too, and man, he fuckin' killed everyone in that dvd, including his crewmate flipz.

  • WACK ASS QUALITY DAWG!

  • all the stuff i've seen abstrak do is way better than this video.Pr0x1mo says he had a pulled hamstring in this vid. That makes sense cause he just doesn't seem like he does in all the other vids ive seen him in. I've seen him in a video on the how-to-breakdance-step-step dvd and I think that ones pretty old too, and he was WAY better in that one than this.

  • yup he rocked the beat crazy with the dance in that one! and the dynamic moves from his feet to his head. wild style aaha

  • Remind Slaughtered that foo! Stylelements baby!

  • this battle was tight and shit... abstrak, after seeing you battle u got me started... dang bro but you cant win them all. i think if the music changed more and at a slower speed you would have won. remind was the shit here in this one... bboy mack out

  • ei remind divided all his signature moves per round.. wooo thats a good technique to save energy for a 5 rounder battle. love to watch both guys....

  • Ab would slaughter Remind now

  • KEN!!! do you have this dvd?!

  • yeah remind also had a broken leg!

  • In this vid, Abztrak had a pulled hamstring.

  • maaaaan. the quality is so wack i cant see shit. which who can roast the most is this so i can get the dvd?

  • Whats the name of the last track?

  • That DJ was whack. Try and play more than one song. Remind killed it as usual.

  • aha i have this dvd. i couldnt stop watching this battle...

  • Abstrak was sickkkkk and he didnt get roasted~ it was dope on both ends of the floor mad flava Remind is sick too

  • Thanks for this vid! Nice to see how bboying has evolved to now. LOTS of style and hitting beats in this battle instead of your usual power move battles u see nowadays. They both were sik!

  • Abstrackt is sick in this battle, but no punch to his routines, and i found he always lacked a bit a charachter, as you guys said MUCH BETTER NOW!.. remind is definetly one of my fav bboys. even though short routines, OOOOOOZING WITH STYLE!!!

  • MUCH BETTER!!!

  • Remind ate that fool up. It was a rap after the 1st round.

  • Abstrackt is a lot better now, he's got mad flavor and stuff that makes your stomach twist. Not talking about circus flexibility, but the way he flows in to moves and dances to the music, it's really nice. This battle is possibly from 5 to 6 years ago, he's much better now.

  • @Holyfiremikey This battle took place in either '00 or '01.

  • @bugstrut Yeah I know. I posted that comment you're replying to 4 years ago if you see the time stamp, and I said it was around 6 years ago. 6+4=10, 10 years ago is 2001

  • you should also tag this as Abztrak

  • Whats the name of this rare track???Please!!!

  • black belt jones

  • Remind's my favourite BBoy, his style is so original n I luv how he knows how to battle without footwork n still come out dope! hes like the only bboy than can get away with it n Kujo also. he jus bases most of his sets on soulful freeze transitions rather than the classical bboy style. Abstrak is a dope footwork cat, this dude's so intricate. this battle's dope, shows two distinctive formulas head 2 head.
