Awesome video and beyond helpful. Your one of the few designers I know who can give advice in such laymans terms. Thank you!!! If possible could you make a video on how to design a website using the 960 grid please!
How do you make the arrow which is under the current page link on your website. The Gray arrow which shows a user what page they are on? And also what do you use to design, and make your websites? Photoshop and Dreamweaver?
@O4MUFC One way of doing this is by putting the navigation in a unordered list and then giving the current page the user is on for example the home page a class. You then style the class that you have given the home page link with the background image of an arrow you have created in photoshop for instance. Just google something like "highlighting current page with css" and you should find something solid info and tutorials on how to do it : )
Thank you very much Micheal! I've been watching your channel for a while now and I for one am very grateful that you put your years of experience for free on youtube. Your videos have helped me (and continue to) a great deal. Thanks again!!!
Very interesting information regarding separation of logo elements. I knew that the logo should look good as a flat color, but I didn't think to break elements before they touch. Thank you.
Have to disagree about Yahoo :)
I think it's and ugly information overload.. but hey at least it's aligned nicely.
Anyways good video, especially about the logos, agree'd on every point you made there.

Lots of videos recently! The examples in this video are great. I like it that you also mentions the "how" instead of the "what" only.
