a pronunciation joke? not only was it not funny but the premise that "eye-rack" is wrong is.......wrong. anyway thanks for the grammar lesson mr. webster
@EdalB1986 Well actually its a colloquialism thing. Sort of like how the british say AL-OO-MINI-UMM and Americans say Aloom-inum for the same word Aluminum. They are both correct. The word Iraq in American English IS pronounced EYE-RACK. However, British English (and most of the world) use the regions colloquialism of i-rahK. Neither of them are "wrong" but I suppose the latter is MORE correct... I personally use the i-rahk version but that's probably just so I sound smarter!
@thisissme I thought of that too, but am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, because 'Eye-rack' really sounds a lot like an Apple product.. I mean I think there's a chance he just happened to think of a similar joke as the Mad TV skit.
And that will be the second Iraq war? Seriously? Not only is the joke drawn out and not funny... yes.. there is no but. Also, this is already the 2nd Iraq war from the American perspective.. from the middle Eastern perspective it's probably more like the 25th one, part Deux. :)

Jesus Christmas people, it's a joke. It doesn't have to be correct, hell it doesn't even have to be funny.
