@PrivateJoker17 Yeah that's why Fox cancelled Family Guy and then had to reinstate them because of the great DvD sales. The Simpsons dropped the Ball, Futurama naturally led the way, then came Family Guy to keep the game going and we've always had South Park to run the show.

@PrivateJoker17 They are obviously doing something right. The writers you should be disgusted with are the Simpsons writers from 2000 to present. Awful, awful jokes and absurd stories. Family Guy has a different style of comedy, no doubt but, at least its funny and memorable. Can't say that about the last 10 years of the simpsons.

@firestrings272 I've hated the last ten years of The Simpsons, but Family Guy steal a large amount of their jokes, they have no story structure, but instead have a series of interchaneable jokes that make no sense at all in relation to what is actually happening in the episode, that might be okay if the jokes were actually well thought out and funny. But for the most part they're not and it's the same bullshit in every episode. I do not respect them as writers. They are lazy.
