  • awesome !!!!

  • wow. this music is just beautiful...

  • What no mosh pit?

  • spooky yet soothing

  • this sounds so otherworldly. my fav is how 3 guys are making 2 chords each in perfect harmony. their tone and inflection and how they go back and forth and move with it. truly incredible. its advanced but yet it is many years old.

  • this is so amazing. i especially love the harmonies at 1:40

  • It's astounding to think that this has only been introduced to the masses (western world etc) in recent history. It demostrates divergent evolution, in a roundabout metaphorical way. The way that humans are all the same yet when put in different parts of the world with various landscapes, animals, weather and other things we create and even become things that seem completely alien to people half a planet away.

  • @Mindwanderingguitar There are quite a few "masses" in various parts of Asia/Eurasia who have been listening to this misc for ever, it's not new except to Western people.....and not this one.

  • unreal~

  • I had a conversation with these guys at an afterparty once... Only one of them could speak english, and barely at that.

  • I love these guys, they must be some of the best throat singers around these days. They do it ALL! Absolutely beautiful.

  • YALLA YALLA YALLA HEY HEY HEY YALLA

  • tyva numbers(latin alphabet): bir, iyi, üş(ush), tört, besh

turk numbers : bir, iki, üç(uch), dört, beş(besh)

tyva language : men, sen, ol, bis, siler, olar (i, you, we...)

turk language : ben, sen, o , biz, siz, onlar

  • What is that squeeking noise? is that their actual voice?

  • @MRTRNB

Yes. The whistling style of throatsinging, cancelling out all the harmonics of the voice but the low drone and a pure high-pitched component, is called sygyt.

  • 1:35 - 1:55

    incredible.

  • so sexy

  • saw these guys live in 05 up in inuvik, northwest territories, canada, and was blown away. have an autographed CD as well :)

  • I'm Canadian as well, and would give aything to see Chirgilchin. but, I guess Inuvik presents a better audience than Toronto!

  • very good

  • Beautiful...these are true masters.

  • I hate that this has been co-opted by hippy dippy left wingers

  • @Jaussy.. whtchu talkin bout fool?

  • hah.

  • At one side we have a bunch of idiot Turks who miserably think that everything beautiful on this planet is actually Turkish, and at the other side we have a bunch of ignorant retards who have no idea about the difference between "Turkish" and "Turkic" but still have the courage to negate and argue on stuff they don't know about...

I love Tuva, I love Mongolia, I love Turkey, I love their culture and heritage. Can't you just appreciate and stop speculating? Is it that hard?

  • @evreniz well said, have u ever visited mongolia?

  • @evreniz So I've never argued, but is there Turkish, Turkic, and Tuvan? I didn't know about Turkic and Turkish, what are these differences?

  • @CatGameDaiyE

the name "turk" was first used in southern siberia/mongolia 1500 years ago by the gok turks who were descendants of asian huns/xioung nu. later on people who speak the languages from same branch and share a similiar culture adopted that name. nowadays people referred as turkic live in eurasia from moldovia to china. somehow, sometime the name "turk" is given to the people of turkey by the west, turkic is given to people who live in the places which was used to be called turkestan

  • @evreniz Turkic is a term for root of all nations.turkish a conceptual which was developed later, turkish is a term for the Turkic peoples and arabic mixed.

read first before you say something!

  • @evreniz Agreed. Nasilsa sonunda butun insanlik Afrikadan geldi XDDD

  • @evreniz Well said my friend. It's good to see people here that actually have something insightful to say.

  • <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • I want to hear them do Intergalactic Planetary!

  • Ohhhhh, you are so wonderful! I love your music, I love you dear people! Thanks for posting this video!

  • whydiSey Hello''hello,'

  • I like this

  • That was the most useless, uninformative post I've seen in quite a while. What is it with these pan-turkic fans that makes them make the stupidest posts ever?

They think they are pushing a national identity, but all they do is to act and look stupid.

  • I just logged in to write this. I agree with you and I am Turkish. Even though tuvan and turkish people has the same cultural heritage (for ex. I can understand some the lyrics, we have very similar customs..) It's idiotic to tag everything and as 'turkish'. However 'turkic' is different and people speaking turkic languages is spread from west and north China (uyghurs, yakuts) up to today's Turkey. We shared culture with them since Turks built more than 25 countries along the way, we mixed a lot.

  • Turkic or Turkish they all have same background they are more related to each other than chinese or any other central asian nations;aren't they??

There are also some native-american tribes in new mexico they have same shamanistic tradition like central asian turks and they have over 300 words same meaning ,same pronunciations, being far away from each other with the border or fading cultures does not mean they are not related ,they are very well related and amalgamate each other some day....

  • @MrRokkafella Speaking as somebody who actually has a degree in linguistics, there is no proven relationship between the languages of North America and Asia, except for the Inuit languages which are related to some languages spoken in the far east of Siberia. Anyone claiming that Amerindian languages from New Mexico are related to the Turkic/Altaic languages is out on the fringe of the linguistic community. I would be interested to see the actual linguistic data behind this claim.

  • i am turkish also and i do not agree with you... he did not say anything... these poeple are turkic, there are 200 million turkic people on earth... youtube is not for information, its for comments... what is your real origin? your name sounds familiar with one of our neighbours...

  • What's my real origin? It's right on my youtube profile, down to hometown. Does it look familiar to one of your neighrbours?

  • no, it doesn't:) i guess i watched too many eurovision videos at youtube:) just look at the comments there and you will understand what i'm talking about...

  • I agree the harmony's at 1:40 are beautiful!! Cool video!

  • 1:40 is amazing!!

  • Extremely talented, Great video

  • It's fantastic!

  • I clicked reply under skyjumper24 in response to his comment

    "man...dat waz...kicken...word up yo"

  • Tuvan is a Turkic language. It is closely related to Kazakh, Kirghiz, and other Turkic languages like Turkish proper. It is not a Mongolian language, though many linguists believe Turkic and Mongolian are distantly related. Culturally, however, it is true that the Tuvan people have more in common with the Mongolians than with other Turkic peoples.

  • My Tuva love you. Our Music is Our Spirit!

  • I am proud that im mongolian. This is called huumi

  • Tuva is our brothers and sisters like buryats and kalmuks and inner mongol mongol repuplic we are one nation!

  • man...dat waz...kicken...word up yo

  • why do you speak like that? do you want people to think you are an idiot?

  • Grammatical fumbling is not the greatest threat to one's perceived intelligence. Though your post is better in this wise than a "ur stupid," it's not better by much, since it's first a character attack, and second not even clear who, and thus why it is you're attacking. Logic and tone trump clarity and give John Q. Previousposter the win.

  • Ghetto speak doesn't bother me a tenth as much as the brainless replacement of simple words with letters. I think its lazy and makes you appear stupid.

  • Agreed, it's lazy. I'd say it can be redeemed by content, but a crude comment does look cruder when written in this wise. Anyways, thanks to hotelmanchuria for giving context to the other conversations on this page.

  • Tuva is Tuvan.

  • Tuva is a Turkic long live Turkic world

  • very impressive

  • I love these people! 8D

  • Well, Tuva is in southern Siberia in the Mongolian region, right?

  • Tuva İs Turkish.Forza Turks

  • Tuva is southeastern Mongolia, on the Russian steppes. It is not now, nor has ever been, Turkish.

  • This is amazing- I've never heard anything quite like this before. I can't even begin to imagine the training necessary to sing like this!

  • Dragon, rent the movie Gengis Blues if you haven't already seen it.

  • Iluv TUVA!!

  • Wow !! that is wonderfull.... Three great voices with fantastic extensions ...Brilliant !!!

  • Haha, thanks to Mogun-Ool Ondar, I began throatsinging myself. Now I finally see who he really is! Great sound, the beginning is nice: Great harmonics!
