soo why would you use hardware store bolts for a dually conversion when a cut down 4mm alum standoff will do the same thing??? and not show ugly bolts running thru the rims???? i'm not hatin', i'm just asking.

@remotecontrolhorror because no matter what I do people will bitch and complain about me spending money on a project. So I try to do things that are cost effective and easy to do for everyone. Hows that?

@djmedic2008 well i do understand that one, i have been following that build, which is the sole reason for me building my honcho into a dually. i promise i wasn't trying to offend yah, your truck is the whole reason why mine is a dually now!!!

"ugly bolts" and all ;) Each one of the videos is planned out to try to have at least 1 part appealing to each person watching. Less expensive mods are an option to a BIG budget project like the Quad .. as you already seem to understand. Thanks for commenting!

@PontiacGT201 Hey bro... No they wont fit. you need to have proline rims. And I am using a Spektrum based DSM2 receiver. I had to waterproof it myself :) I also put 2 holes in the Honchos electric box to help water drainage.

awesome video! Ive seen alot of people like to use hpi rock grabber tires backwards, does it make a difference? I know that you have the mashers, not the grabbers, but does it make a difference if you flip the tread? Great video!

@GetBlitzified for rock crawling.. i would use 'em backwards.. as they act like a scoop, and have better hook up... but for raw MUDDING power... I choose the Proline Mashers... forward tread. That helps move the mud out of the tread
